I have experienced the magical power of prayer. For the last 5 years, i am chanting the Gayathri mantra and it changed my life a lot.I think, majority of Hindus are not aware of the powers of mantra.I believe in the power of prayer and it must be first felt inside of us.If we make a phone call continuously and ringing for a long time and we are wondering if maybe we should just hang up and try again another time. Then a voice answers and simply says, Iam here. Iam listening to you. Communication has been established. The power of prayer is the constant renewal of perspective. Prayer opens our eyes. It extends our horizons. It sheds light into the darkness of our fears and our sorrows, our hopes and joys, our shame and our pride. It gives us new ways of seeing life and relationships, of understanding work and the cost of growing.I dont believe that our prayer changes God's mind or improves Gods disposition. God will do what God will do.

very much so. My family and I moved 1800 miles for me to take a job as a paramedic. We prayed about the different offers I had to choose from, and took this job based on answers to those prayers. 6 weeks later, my reciprocity was still up in the air due to problems at the state offices. The ambulance service I worked for couldn't afford to keep paying me when I couldn't run calls. So there we were, in a new city, with no job or income. However, we knew we had prayed about moving here. We knew that God answered our prayers. We knew that there was some purpose to us being here, even if that purpose didn't include me working for that service. Because of that, we didn't fear for the future in this strange city.

Yes prayers do have impact in my life. I am praying daily to the Jehovah God the great God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is the great and awesome God of the universe. Whenever I pray to Him, I become more contented in life, I become more serene, I become less stressed and more relaxed. I could feel peace that settles all my strife deep within. I could feel a very loving presence and a deep comfort for all my troubles. I could feel a great sense of belonging and assurance that everything will be alright. After the prayer I am more inspired to live and gained a new dimension of strength to face each day.

I do believe that prayers impacts my life. who ask will receive. The door will be opened to those who knocked it. God will always listen to our prayer. He will fulfill it, but in His time not ours. At least prayer encourage me.

Perhaps that is the best way, we become impatient and do not relaise why that thing never happened at that time, God know the best time for us..thus he does it in his time.
