I really don't know what the big deal is about Twitter. Why not just enjoy life without having to bother posting what your doing.

Aside from updating majority of people with just one tweet (or post) it lets you stay connected with friends. Twitter also allows its users to be updated with the news through the accounts of news programs, newspapers and so on.. It also keeps you informed about the latest buzz in showbiz, politics or whatever. For me, its a very useful site that is why I always check my twitter account. BTW, its free in my mobile browsing so no worries for me It is an effective tool of communication, I suppose.

I have heard about twitter but don't know exactly what it is about. I was even told to make an account on twitter but couldn't find anything like other socializing sites.

Amen to that. I joined Twitter about one month ago. I do not see anything spectacular with them either. I think it is quite boring actually. I heard you can earn with it but I do not know how to. I will make my money elsewhere that is easier and self explanatory.

its an account where you can tell what your doing or thinking at that moment during the day. it even shows the time during the day when you used twitter. you can also see who else used twitter with your account whether you know them or not. i don't understand whats so great about it.

I only use twitter once in a while. I prefer facebook. I found more old friends there. I think it is a more social site.

I agree with you too. I think although we can tweet about ourselves anytime, but is there anyone really follow our update? Is there anyone really take care about what we tweet? We are not celebrity, we are not actress, we are not public figure, we are just civil citizen. Is there anyone care about our activity? I think most of us will answer no. I think people who are twitter addict could losing their real life moment. Most of their time are bothered to tweet and tweet. It's not a good thing. Happy mylotting.

I am not a fan of Twitter either. I like Facebook. I can do that on Facebook, and a lot of other things. I wouldn't want a site only devoted to status reports, but if they are a part of a site that offers more, that is OK. That's why I'm going to stick with Facebook. Besides, most of my family is on there.

100% agree with you! If people really wanna know update status of someone, just chat with them and you won't lose a single second of their activity.. I use facebook, it's easier to comment there than in twitter. We need to send personal message and a lot of unknown people can follow us freely. For me, better facebook, we can deny or ignore friend request, but in twitter we can't deny someone to following us. We need to block them one by one,,tiring! Many multiple account nowadays and what I get in my inbox only a bunch of link Well, some people say it can generate traffic, so after I post many good quote and what I was doing(and feel silly after that, nobody respond or care) I start to post link to my site. I post second link 6 hours after the first link and there' no link posts before them. Twitter banned me. Strange! Now I really don't care about twitter!

Twitter can be fun if you use it to say what up to your friends and family. It is really there for people to say what they are doing at the moment. However it looks like it is really used as a business tool. Everyone is using it to sell something. It is uesed most for people to view adds and make a quick buck from twitter. Happy lotting.

it sounds somewhat worth it for business but i wouldn't expect anything as far as profiting as its just one source.

I agree. Tweeting about what you are doing is only taking up time that could be spent doing something fun or constructive. Plus why does everyone need to know what you are doing. I don't think a stranger would really care.
