How do you use any extra income or other money that comes your way?

I have had to spend a bit of my online earnings to pay a couple of bills, but anything I earn online, I usually put in a savings account. Soon, I will start adding some of it to my retirement account. What do you do with the extra money you earn, online or off? Karen

Same with you; I save for a rainy day. You are right; perhaps I should also consider to keep a retirement account soon with all these online earnings; that would be really handy. Great idea there..

Hello Zed. Yes, the sooner one starts tucking money away for retirement, the longer it has to grow. It will come in handy in one's later years. Have a beautiful day. Karen

Hi Karen! Much as I would like to save my on-line earnings, however, I could not do it so far. Whatever came my way through on-line earnings, it all got spent on house-hold goods. I do not feel like saving, when I see that there is an immediate requirement to buy something. I wish to enjoy life as on today and would prefer to be in a comfortable situation rather than saving it for a later stage and putting myself in a uncomfortable sitaution presently. Hope you got, what I wanted to say. Deepak

Yes, Deepak, I think I understand. The only place we CAN live is in the here and now. It would be a bad idea to suffer in the now saving for a future here on earth we are not guaranteed. Made good sense to me! Karen

Up until I was badly burnt by a scam investment site, I used to invest my online earnings on different investments that I was recommended, sadly most of them turned out to be scams and I lost an awful lot of money, I still kick myself when I think about it, but I have learnt a valuable lesson, the internet is full of scams, cheats and dodgy investments, so now I keep all my money in my Paypal account and use it for Ebay purchases or transfer it into my bank account so I can pay for college courses which I enjoy doing and it also helps me to get out more and spend less time on the internet which is not always a good thing!

I hate when people scam others! They appear to have no conscience about it, either. But we all fall into such a thing or something similar at times, and yes, we learn. I think what you do with your extra now is very wise. Karen

Hello Advokatku. Those sound like worthwhile ways to use your money...put it back into online work to earn even more. It's good that your offline job provides the other things needed or desired, too. Have a nice evening. Karen

Hey, PeacefulWmn! You are my real model:) I always imagine to be well prepared for my retirement account with the help of internet. You know in my hometown retired life is not so guaranteed. The question is not to earn a lot but to have some extra from time to time. So online income could be benefited from. Nowadays extra income is still left online, but one day it could be checked out for my offline life. Best wishes!

Hello to you. Retirement benefits are iffy for me, too, and one is never quite sure what will ultimately happen to Social Security in the US, so yes, I save now for a time I may need it most :) Karen

Well, I personally have only been working with some sites online for the last couple of weeks and have yet to receive payout from any of them, but as I told my boyfriend, when I do make money it will go directly towards any bills that we may have due at that time. Hopefully that will begin happening here really soon. Thank you for your post and have a great evening.

Hi Dbab. Two weeks is a short time, so I am sure that if you keep at it, you will soon begin to see some good results. It sounds as if you have wise plans for your earnings :) Best wishes to you. Karen

If I ever get a little extra money, I spend it. I try to keep birthdays and holidays in mind but I also buy books for myself. I love to read so most of my money goes to books, maybe some DVD's now and again too. I usually don't save any money since my income is so small. I use any online earnings to help pay for those gifts and books.

Hello to you. So your extra money helps you buy things that you love and enjoy and might not be able to afford otherwise? That is good. Happy day to you! Karen

My online earnings are usually put into a savings account. Not always but for the most part. I try to put it all there so it's helping me build up my savings account in case I need to use some extra money for whatever reason. Plus, I plan on possibly using some of my earnings to buy myself something special before this year is up. We'll see though. The money I earn from my job for the most part pays the bills, rent and buys food and pays for gas and stuff. I do put some of the money from my job into savings as well. I never really had a savings account until a few months ago so I really feel it's important that I have some sort of savings account and work to build it up with a substantial amount of money just in case.

Hi Angel. I also believe a savings is very important. There isn't a lot left after paying bills and necessities, but when I put a good portion of online earnings into savings, it adds up more quickly than one might expect. I think it is good to reward yourself for your hard work with a special present :)) Karen

hello PeacefulWmn9, Same thing with you, I'm putting it in my saving's account for additional savings. Good thing I've learned about this online earnings. It truly helps a lot. Just a little amount but if I will sum it up it will become big. And for that I'm so thankful and happy as well.

Hello Robert. I have always felt insecure if I do not have some sort of savings for "back-up," so all the online work I do is a good way to add regularly to it, as well as, paying some of the smaller bills. Yes, at the end of a year, it all adds up. Karen

I spend it on extra things that I could never get into our budget, like $50.00 for flowers for all the work our webmistress does for us. It really made me feel good to be able to do that for her.

Hi Pat. What a wonderful way to use extra. It drives home the saying that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Have a beautiful day. Karen

I use it in different ways. Here lately it has all gone toward bills or things that we need here at the home. I have used it for savings and I have also used it to treat myself, going to movies, out to eat or purchasing something for me. I love making that extra money and every little bit counts!

I've start doing this seriously for the past 2 months but I first start this making money online for a year now. I never believe it that this such internet can give me this kind of money. Anyways, I earn 100$ in a month by doing this stuff online. Not much but it really pump me up seeing those cash flow in my paypal account and also getting checks from my mail box. I hope and dream to make 1000$ a month on the internet but Im not expecting it to happen in te nar future but i'll strive hard to be on top of my game to reach that goal. Wish me luck.

Hello Jeiay. I believe that those of us who are versatile in working more than one site or job, both online and off, do indeed have the potential to eventually earn a decent enough amount of money. It requires that versatility, quality, and a dedication to our efforts to reach a particular goal. And I do indeed wish you luck in reaching your goal! Karen

Hi Taz. I also do this with jars into which I put pennies, and in another jar the silver change. I have been able to save much more than one would expect using this method. I now have a jar for dollar bills, as well. That is my new emergency jar. It is great to start your child with a savings account. I did this with my children and gave it them to handle on their own when they turned 18. Thank you for sharing your wise ways of doing things Karen

I usually spend my online earning for online shopping. Mostly i bought some apparels. It's really a fun for me. Doing many things on the internet and earn cent by cent increased to dollar by dollar and spend that money to buy things i like. For me, this is one of the best thing we can do ourselves from the internet. Can't you imagine how is my feelings when i saw there's a package from overseas for me and when i opened it, there's alot of new apparels for me? That's kind of happiness. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hi Dian...yes, I can well imagine your joy at receiving that package from over seas. I think we all love to get packages in the mail...so exciting! Using your online earnings to purchase also online things is a good idea. And yes, all those pennies and dollars add up and allow us to purchase things we might not otherwise be able to afford. Karen

Hi Kitty. The more you write here (and your discussions and responses are the kind the DO earn well) the more you will see the pennies turn into dollars. I use this site, and since I am a writer, I also use other sites that pay one for their writing. Believe me, the dollars than can turn into to tens and then hundreds of dollars per month or year. So...keep on keeping on lol. Karen
