What Would You Choose? Money or God?

Yes, in the Bible, Almighty God said, " Choose either Mennon or me". You have no other choice. If you choose the riches, you will not enter Heaven. So if you are confronted with this poser, what will be your decision. Will it be money? Or will it be God? Money is needed now on material Earth but we must have the afterlife through God. Put on your thinking caps and with faith in your heart, give me your opinions and arguments.

hi graceful... what a powerful question.. i must admit i love earning money a lot...and I need lots of it since i have a son whom i am raising alone... he is growing up and so are the needs.. but nothing,,,and i mean nothing...can ever make me choose soemthing over God. all of these material things are nothing without God.. He should always be put first when it comes to situations where you have to choose.. well you really don't have to choose... just in case i need to...

I pick God of course. I have found that most everyone will tell you what God wants just to get your money. Lots of churches, preachers, and holy books doing just that! Hmmm???? I wonder what God thinks about that???? They are choosing the money!!!

I think you shouldn't only read that sentence without the previous and next sentences. We should read it in full chapter to knowing what actually was happened when that sentence was said out. I know that we can mixing both money and God together because whoever love money so much must be far away from the God. So i think we should be fair in such situation. I mean we need money for our life but we also need God for our life. So if we can make it balance in our life, i believe that we will find the true happiness. I think it's not impossible as long as we realize that our money is actually come from the God's help. If the God didn't want to give us a success, then no matter how hard will we work, we won't got anything. So, we should praise the God after we got our money from our hard work and share the money with other people who really need it. I mean not only for beggars, but there's alot of our brothers and sisters living in poor place and poor countries. So we should share our happiness, our richess, and our smile with them. This is what the God wants from us. God hates people who only love their money and don't want to helping other people. I think it's fair enough because we all know that people who love their money so much will forgot about their Creator. I hope no one on mylot will become like that. We all earning money only for life. If the God gives us more prosperity, then that is our duty to help other people with that prosperity. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Hi, God is the Provider...believe in God and God will guide you and you will prosper. I still remember this song when I was young :` Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness... And all these things will be added unto you Hallelu - Hallelujah! Ask and it shall be given unto you! Choose God first and the money will follow you... So, I guess you know the ANSWER

First of all, money is not evil; it is the love of money that is evil. It is what you do with the money. Making money for the sake of making money is not good. I was once given this advice: If you don't have it, you don't need it; if you need it, it will be provided, or at least the means to obtain it will be provided. Anything beyond need is greed; it is the primary reason for the latest economic crises--greed run amok. Money is necessary in the world we live in; I see it as a necessary tool to get on in the world, but like any tool, in the wrong hands, it wreaks havoc. God does indeed provide; I have never in my life been without. I always have what I need when I need it. The Bible also says, "Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust doth corrupt and thieves break thru and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break thru nor steal. For where your treasure, there will your heart be also." Where is your heart? It is inside of you. Where is the kingdom of heaven? The Bible says the kingdom of heaven is within. It is the treasure house of God hidden in each and every one of us. Realize THAT, and life becomes magical. Amazing does not even begin to express it. The Bible also says, "...few there be that find (realize) it."
