Do You Have A Hard Time Explaining MyLot & PTC's To Offline Friends?

"Woohoo!! I just found a $0.10 ad on Clixsense!" or "Yay! That $0.50 task on MyLot was approved!" Do these, or similar phrases excite you, but baffle non-online-earning loved ones? Are they wondering what the big deal is about a few cents? If they are the same kind of people who would bend down to pick up a penny off of the ground, then the above statements should make perfect sense to them, and they should want to know how to get their piece of the earning action, even though it doesn't amountt to much more than a few dollars a month. In this troubled ecconomy, I'm happy for every penny I can earn, and I will do what I can to earn it!! Have you encountered people who just don't understand your on-line earning excitement, your excitement over what they consider to be pittance? How do you handle these comments? I tell people that because of MyLot, Gather, Clixsense, and my mother money-making sites, I am able to spend a little money on myself each month, instead of pumping it all into the household. Then I offer them my referal link, so they too can get in on the action.

In this economy, You do what you can to make some extra money. Be it cut the grass or type on a computer. what gets to my friends is why I would ever try to make a full time job out of Pay Per Post programs. Honestly It's the only way to accumulate enough to make it worth the pay. I explain it but it goes over their heads.

I can't argue with the fact that a person can make more money at McDonalds, but for stay-at-home parents, shut-in's, and people like myself who are on disability, it's a great system!! And there are plenty of people that do not fall within those three categories that have made a pretty decent income suppliment working on these sites full-time.

Nope, not all. When I discuss someting I just mention I was talking with someone on one of the many forums I type on. As being a stay at home mom, people that know me, know I don't get around many adults.

I am glad they understand you, and the internet is a wonderful way for stay-at-home folks to interact with other adults. I have lots of adult company at the coffee shop, and my husband is the most mature person I know (and I'm not just saying that because he's older than my Daddy! LOL), but it's still nice to get on line and meet the rest of the world, while earning a few bucks.

Yes, my parents don't totally understand it at all and they don't understand the concept of being grateful for a few cents at a time that adds up over time. I don't think they've ever been poor enough to get it. In fact, this is how bad my parents are about making money with a computer, when people ask what job my adult daughter has, my parents tell them she is not working! HA! Not working, oh my gosh, my daughter is online nearly all day every day of the week, yes seven days a week trying to make money to help the family. She does it with all kinds of things though she focuses on writing articles for Associated Content and on finding free samples and coupons, sells a few things on ebay, she has her finger in a lot of different online pies. She ends up working harder than a lot of people who go out of the house to a job because she has to also handle an autistic son while she's working. It's frustrating when people don't fully understand how important the computer is in our house because it's what brings in any extras we get for us or the kids. That's a good idea offering them your referral link.

It is never easy to explain to others the working of mylot. Even if they do understand, they don't have the interest of participating in mylot. Once they don't have the interest in writing and not willing to exert their thinking mind, there is no point of convincing them further. It is a waste of time and energy to explain. Only like minded people find mylot interesting.

Sigh.. Yes I do have a hard time explaining my online earnings to people that's why I don't usually tell them what I do here. I just tell them I do stuffs that help me earn every month and helps somehow in my household expenses. People just seem not interested whenever I try to share them what I do here. And if I tell them the few cents I am earning, they just respond, "ah ok" then drop the conversation or change the topic. My mother was even the first not to understand why I have to stay online for almost a day. I even had an argument with her, that she doesn't understand why I had to do this. I just tell her I wouldn't be wasting my time if I get nothing out of these stuffs online. Though I already have proofs to show my friends that they can earn too, I still don't offer them my links cause if they get disappointed with their earnings they might only blame me. I'd rather promote my links to strangers here in the internet through my blogs.

Yes I understand what you mean. Honestly doesn't understand any online business of mine until now. This is always the cause of our trouble most of the time looking me attending something on our PC. She would just laugh and underestimate my online earnings. she never know how precious and important with me those cents I've earned from this. Yet, even though this is her attitude I never stop doing it and still looking for other good earning sites hoping someday somehow I could finally find what I really looking for...happy mylotting

How right you are with this statement. What can excite one person is confusing to others. And even if someone is interested and wants to do it too, unless they can get focused and motivated they will never see the results you have from doing this as well. I know I have friends I tell I just earned another $10 or more when I get paid from here and they will look at me with interest but at the same time think I am wasting my time as well. But personally I feel it is us who win, and they who just tend to sit back and wait. One day excellent things will happen for us, and then for the only they will only wonder "How Come It Is Not Me?"

I do find it hard to explain but some of my friends become very interested when I tell them you get paid for it - especially mylot because they like the idea of earning & making good friends on a forum site :)
