Am I a lazy person?

We have 2 maids at home. I only clean my own room and the rest room. On weekends, i either sleep on midafternoons or go to the office to catch up on work. I dont do help in the household chores anymore and i dont assist my sister whenever she bakes the cupcakes because she already has 2 assistants to back her up. Am i being lazy or is it because i am no good in housework?

I think that if you can afford the maids, not doing household work is not being lazy. It seems you work in an office. That´s your work. Noone cleans for pleasure. When my husband was alive, I had a maid who did the work. Now I can´t afford one and that is that. I prefer to do the housework myself, eat what I want and when I want as I live alone and save money for luxurious vacations. Happy posting!

You have saif that noone cleans for pleasure... I do I clean for the pleasure of having a clean house and it is great exercise so your statement isnt true. I personally wouldnt like to have maids I dont even like my partner helping me I like to have the satisfaction of doing it all myself!

Do you feel lazy? If the answer is I suspect no, then you are not, only you can say if you are lazy or not and I don't think you are, lazy is getting up in the morning watching television all day long and then going to bed and not lifting a finger. It is your life and however you choose to live it is up to you. If you want to be lazy then why not? Who's to tell you differently? But you are not so don't worry. Enjoy life and the benefits you have. Life is too short and we have to enjoy it, it's not all about work, work, work! Have fun!

no,i think all of this do not mean that you are a lazy one,you just don't need to do this...if you can afford two maids in your home,of course you can make yourself away from the housework, woman can also do a lot of things besides housework.

How can we judge whether you are lazy or not? You just told us what you don't do. Tell us your passion! How are you making a difference in this world?? Of course, I do know you are supplying jobs in a bad economy. That can be considered hard work in itself. I just bet you do some kind of volunteer work that you never take credit for. It is just in your nature to be helpful and kind. See! There are much more important things than household chores. And it seems you do have that covered.
