and I am not talking about college football either. I am talking about my oldest son's 7th grade football. Last year, he played football for the first time on a midget league, this year, he is playing middle scholl 7th grade football. He bagan practice a couple of weeks ago when school started, and his first game is this week. I am excited about watching him play agian because he really is good! My oldest son is small for his age, almost the smallest kid in his class, but he is really athletic and great at football. He is excited to be out on the filed again, and has high hopes for himself as well as his team. Do any of your kids play football? Any sports at all? How do you feel about the sport they play?

My youngest is too young at the moment. My older son is tall and very thin and I am sorry to say not very athletic, he also wears glasses, I would not put him in football because I am quite sure he would get hurt, he just does not have the right body style for it, and he would probably break his glasses, or have contact lens pop out or something. He played tennis and baseball for a while, and while he likes playing tennis he hated baseball. He can golf pretty well and he took golf lessons for a couple of years and the teacher thought he was a natural but he lost interest in that too. He and my daughter are both more intelectuals than athletes. My youngest son seems like he will be the one who enjoys and does well in sports. We are going to get him in to T-ball next summer.

well, i dont have any kids but when I was in 7th grade i absolutly loved playing football. I always had fun playing in the games with my best friends (some of which i still hang out with) I wasnt the best lineman but it was a great confidence booster and great fun too. I hope your kid has as much fun as I did :)
