...that you didn't need a credit card to be able to collect Aeroplan Miles. I collect Airmiles (a competitor of Aeroplan, but I had a regular card long before I had my credit card from the bank. So, tonight I see an ad for Aeroplan miles, and I decide to check it out, since I've heard of them, but never really looked into them. I have heard about them everytime I've flown with Air Canada. Anyway, tonight I discovered that I did not need a credit card, and that I could have gotten 1 mile per $1 spent. DANG!!! Air Canada is a big place to get miles, and in the last two years, I've spent nearly $2,500 in airfare for tickets for myself (from Toronto to Phoenix and back three times) and my husband (Phoenix to Toronto and back twice), and I could have gotten A LOT OF MIlES for that, since all flights were with Air Canada. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else ever seen a good deal after the fact, and wished you'd known about it sooner? I put this under travel, because had I traveled with Aeroplan miles in the first place, I'd be able to afford a free trip for two to Montreal, by now.
