Ok, this is reminding me of the guys driving a lawn tractor drunk. But I don't think they ever dared to go on the freeway! That takes some nads driving something that doesn't even go what a mile per hour & traffic is usually 55-65 miles per hour. Seems a lil suicidal to me... http://www.wisn.com/news/20904713/detail.html

People do weird things when they're drunk or high. When I lived in Arizona, a guy was arrested for drunk bicycle driving! Luckily, nobody was hurt.

I've seen stuff like that on the show Cops before. I guess atleast if he crashes into something the only person he's hurting is himself provided he's not cycling in the road.

there's a guy 1 street down from me who's been busted repeatedly for drunken wheelchair.he rides down the middle of the road. they finally made him put lights and a flag on the back of the chair, they can't impound his wheelchair.

Well if it's a battery operated dealie they could consider a breathalizer igntion thing of sorts perhaps? I'm sure they could make one *LOL* Otherwise make him use a standard arm powered wheel chair. Kinda sad he has nothing else better to do than drink, even if he is wheelchair bound.

he seems to be somewhat of a..i don't want to say shut in,but he avoids other people.it is kind of sad though. i'm not sure they could make him use a standard-i don't think he has the upper body strength to push himself.he's somewhere around 60/70.

Hi snuggle buunies, that made me laugh as we have a guy down in the fishing village who regularly drives through it on his motorised wheelchair. He thinks that vehicle regulations don't apply to him so he drives it through the street at night even when its cordoned off to all traffic. But he's only drunk in charge of said vehicle on the drive back home.
