I just realized I haven't seen any John Wayne movie. I've seen some as a kid but don't really remember. So where do I start? Which one's your favorite?

I would recommend "The Quite Man" and "North To Alaska" for someone who has never seen John Wayne. Both are excellent and show his wide range of acting skills. He is most well known for his westerns and war movies but these two are outside of the normal when people talk about John Wayne so don't let his standard fare turn you off to early.

I have seen many John Wayne movies. They are all excellent, and I enjoyed watching them. But, I can't remember exactly what the movies are about. The ones I liked were the western cowboy movies. He had a very unique voice and unique accent. Sounds a perfect cowboy ! Hm, I should find some of John Wayne movies and watch them again, to bring back the memories !

Try The Alamo. It was years ago but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Lots of old time action. You might find it in a place where they sell old movies. Its a good one.

I have only seen two John Wayne movies. I would recommend them to anyone! The first one is "The Cowboys" and the second is "True Grit"! I never have gooten around to seeing any other John Wayne movies but if I did watch others I'd watch the westerns! I'm not into war movies!

Personally like Hondo, although the Sons of Katie Elder is good as well. In the UK it seems there is one of his on everyday on one channel or another, although I have to admit I have just realised that I have none of his films on DVD although think I have a few VHS tapes lying around, the likes of Sands of Iwo Jima.
