A hot bath at night . .. ..

Philippines

I used to have muscle pains every time I exert physical efforts on working or doing something. The next day, I would feel very tired and could hardly move my body. These happened then when I would take a cold shower at night. Lately, I discovered that a hot bath before going to bed is very relaxing even if physical efforts were exerted duing the day. It has been a routine now to take a hot bath instead of a cold bath at night. Do you take a cold or hot bath at night?

Actually it's been awhile since I took a bath. I prefer to jump in a warm to hot shower and let the water run on my lower back where I have problems. Since I'm no longer working, I can shower anytime of the day and don't feel obligated to do it at night.

I only take cold shower in the evening after returning from work. There's no more shower or bath after that unless I really need to. My mom prohibited us to take bath late at night. She said it's not good for our lungs. Well, since we don't have hot shower in the house, I guess it might differ if we do. Since you said hot bath is relaxing, I think it's a good idea to try too. I often feel tired lately, both mentally and physically. Perhaps I need some relaxing therapy in the water.

I have done this in the past and it does allow you relax and get a better night's rest. If you can really relax your sore muscles will be much better in the morning.

well, i take a hot bath during winters but during summers it is so hot in our area that we can't even imagine a hot bath. a hot bath is very effective for muscular pain. it takes away the pain and relaxes the body.

When it is really hot at night... i prefer to take a cold shower... but when i am tired and i want to feel relaxed... a warm shower is the perfect one for that... how i wish i have a bath tub at home... just so i can have one of those long warm baths once in a while... but then... as we all know... most bathrooms in the Philippines is not equipped with such a luxury...

I usually take a bath three times a day. And the bath at night are usually warm except if it is very hot or summertime. Taking a bath anytime in a day really makes me feel comfortable and very relax.

hi dorisday I take a fairly warm bath, not real hot, but warm enough and it is really so relaxing and helps me to sleep better also. I'like to wash my hair with scented herbal essence shampoo and use loreal body wash. the scents are gentle and relaxing too.
