Talk to me like I'm 4 and tell me why when conservatives talk about FOX they say oh, if you watch the reports of news it's fair and balanced but if you watch the commentators then that's opinioned. Now, explain why they don't understand why MSNBC and CNN are the EXACT same way???

Well now zephie, when we turn on Mr TV and choose what news channel to watch, we have the choice between the wittle red news and the little blue news. The widdle blue news tawks in ways that makes the wittle red party look bad...and the widdle red news tawks in ways that makes the widdle blue party look bad. Now, poor widdle Mr. red news is AAAAWWWW awone out der, (it's beeeg scawy news world), and all the other wittle blue newses like to pick on mr. red news....Now, Mr red news may be just as slanted in how it talks about the wittle blue party, but sometimes mr red news is AAAAWWWW awone in talking about some big important gwone up things......

X, the problem with both parties news channels are that they are like the National Enquirer. Even when they get a story right, only half of the population believes them because of their reputations. I have read stories about ACORN that were right, and others that were wrong. So I will wait to see what turns out in the end till I say that they are an evil organization like FOX wants the world to believe.

discussion thief. i was going to start this one, although it wasn't going to be about fox news. oh no it was going to be 'please explain why zephry is very...' anyway, it's the 'if it goes with my ridiculous views it's reasonable. if it doesn't it's blatent propaganda' stuff again.

Because there is news and there is comment. Comment is all about opinion and analysis of the news. News is supposed to just be a report on the events as they happened. The incompetent press can't seem to learn that there is a difference. Actually, they know, they just don't care. When news reporter pepper their stories with opinion and spin, they are no longer news... they are propaganda. ::: notice I didn't point fingers at either the left or the right. Incompetence has infested the news, period. ::::

I noticed and I'm very impressed but, when a liberal takes a nutral position on something they usually end up attacked.

Are you saying that all the liberal media isn't biased and bow to Dorkbama or are you saying that all conservative media isn't doing their job if they let the liberal media just say whatever they want? I don't watch any of those liberal outlets, they all say the same thing anyway, B.O. is great, Bush is bad. Fox at least bring matters of the heartland to the masses and doesn't cater to the idiots who want to save fish because they believe more in the planet than in people.

I think they call it "selective reasoning" if not then I just coined a new term! LOL! But the Right Thinkers ( AKA Haters) all seem to have this dysfunctional disease! Then again who am I to judge! tdemex
