Are you a fan of Mariah Carey?

I used to be, when she first came on the scene with songs like Someday. I even owned her Christmas CD and the Dreamlover CD. But then she started changing. She started getting plastic surgeries, and after that things got all sorts of out of control! Now she married Nick Cannon after dating him for only a few weeks... and apparently her new song Obsessed is supposed to be all about Eminem. Supposedly the two dated, but she's claiming nothing happened between them. Like I said, I used to like her, but now she's trying too hard to be too sexy, and I'm not a fan of people who do that!! What do you think of her?

Hi, katsmewo1213. I guess I still like Mariah Carey. She is not all that bad. I did not know that she had plastic surgery done to her. And she looks good. Some people don't looking good after their plastic surgery is done. And I also did not know that she dated Eminem. This is brand new news. She is very much sexy as far as her dressing and attitude is concerned. But when she first came out she was very reserved but her personality has totally changed. In my eyes she is still on top of her game. Just on top a little more..

I cannot stand her! I have never liked her and I am not a big fan of her music either, I just think that she thinks too much of herself and puts to high a price on herself. There are a lot of artists way better than her.

I used to like her when she was new to the music business, but really I could not even tell you the name of any of her songs since her first album.

I Looove her old albums, i have it right in my childrens tape player. I have a CD in my car and my kids really like it its so cute seeing them trying to sing to her. I have, like you, wondered about her for a little while now. Like what is she doing. I love her voice and think even though her style changed to hip-hop she still has a very beautiful voice but for me it has gotten old. I do think she made a good career choice for changing her style because things change so quickly she could of very easy went out of style and it was good timing. Now that she is older though it does appear to me that she is trying too hard and we grew up with her, its like there's no need to front. I think she should go back to her classics and maybe update them a little or just come out with some really heart to heart songs, love songs without the hip-hop. I know she does the Xmas albums every year and that girl can sing some gospel but after the Nick Cannon thing I'm sure many people in the industry are wondering the same thing, whats next. Cannon is a kid and I just hope it doesn't turn into Whitney houston and Bobby Brown, my god. Speaking of, Whitney---GF, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!

I like her a lot. I use to mimic her style in singing when I was just a little kid. Her classic songs are my most favorite such as Without You, Hero and One Sweet Day. I like her best on the 90's, shes more simple back then. But I think with all the intrigues that has been going on around her, its kinda upsetting that lot of things has changed about mariah. I don't know. But shes still the best female artist of all time which we can't deny. Happy myLotting!

This is iffy. I really love her older stuff like One Sweet Day, Hero, Butterfly or All I Want For Christmas. But since early 2000 she got a little crazy. Like I'm not sure she doesnt seem the same. She seems a little out there. I even like her stuff from the album a few years ago like Dont Forget About Us and stuff like that but it bugs me she doesnt sing live anymore and she dresses like a 14 year old girl. Her drama with EM I could care less about and I really hope she's happy with Nick Cannon. I hope she gets it together and starts singing live again soon. Maybe she just lost her voice.
