MY President is an American Citizen, how 'bout yours?

I'm not one of the frauds who spout off about supporting the Constitution and the laws in this country and then go on to declare with certainty that Obama is not a natural born citizen...convicting him based on allegations, assumptions and a document that a known criminal has tried several times to sell on Ebay. Accusations without substance mean nothing. No one should have to "prove" themselves in the face of them.

Some people say they know Obama was born in Hawaii because they've seen his birth certificate on the internet. Others say he was born in Kenya and they have seen the documents to prove it plus his Kenyan family says he was born there. I don't know who is right and who is wrong. I do wonder, though, why he won't show his school records. If he got a foreign student scholarship, which some people believe he did, he has some explaining to do; and he doesn't seem to want to show his school records.

How has he proved this to you? Where is this proof? He is spending thousands of dollars every day to keep his birth place from being known. The one shown on his website was not a real Birth Certificate but a piece of paper which states he was born alive, which anyone can get, even illegal immigrants. It is what is call a "Certificate of live birth" It does not have the name of where, what hospital nor the attending physician, which is on all REAL birth certificates. Did he ever legally change his name back to Obama after being legally adopted and having his name changed to Soetoro? Then where is that proof? Transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama, using the adoptive sure name Soetoro, applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. Again I ask, where is the proof of American citizenship?

I suspect he was born in the states, but has a personal reason for not wanting to show his papers. Mind you, it's just a theory. Maybe Obama Sr. isn't really his daddy or he's older than he says he is. Who knows.

The claim that Obama isn't "American" (which, as Lamb pointed out, is about a natural-born status) isn't a claim Obama really has to disprove, in my opinion. The burden of proof is on the people contending that he was born in Kenya, or wherever else they come up with. That aside, I do think that Obama should show people his birth certificate and even college records. But this is for a completely different reason. I believe that President Obama is a natural-born citizen, but since he and his campaign had private, sealed documents of his opponents released in the Senate race, I say what's good for the goose is good for the gander. It's just Obama's turn to deal with some controversy. He is the President, after all. ;) Truthfully, if it wasn't this whole citizenship thing, it would just be something else. And it has nothing to do with race. Heck, at its core, it has nothing to do with religion either. Some people are just bitter that they didn't get what they wanted, and any rumor or slight controversy becomes major. We just got through all of this with Bush. People INSISTED and some still do that he stole the 2000 election and therefore wasn't eligible to be President. Some people even insist that Bush was behind the 911 attacks. So I have a little bit of advice for President Obama: Toughen up! It's coming out that the White House calls news networks and papers to literally whine and cry about the "unfair" way they're covering him. Get used to it! Obama isn't immune to this type of stuff, and the public shouldn't be made to believe that it's all happening to Obama because of his skin color or for any other reason other than he's the POTUS. Okay, mini rant over! :)

Yes as far as I'm concerned he is an American Citizen. Let me tell you if he wasn't he would never been able to run for President let alone be elected. Especially since he is half black they made sure the "T's were crossed and the "I's were dotted.
