Most of us want to explore and travel to places to meet new friends and for cultural interest. But somehow most of us traveler wanted to understand and to be understood to people we can possibly meet throughout our travel. As a traveler, I am encourage to learn another language such as Spanish and Chinese for a better understanding when I am going to travel to places. In times, I was looking for a school that provide me an intensive learning and interactive training program to learn another language is a very short duration. And I have found a school that offer language courses which I enjoy my time learning several languages for they give me the reason to pursue and enroll to United International College in London.. I really had a great time learning a language course! To everyone, I want to share it to you the school that has a lot to offer in terms of language course. Check this out: http://www.uiclondon.com

yeah, you are right, it's should be very interesting to second language different from your native language. but actully, sometimes maybe we need to learn another language to earn a better living. in China, we need to learn English from our elementary education so that we can commuication with foreign guys easily and also can help you find a better job when you grow up. maybe it's alway good to force somebody to learn English, it will be useless if he don't have chance to use that. but for me i must learn English better as possible as i can, i must use it as my working language, that is also the reason i am here. thanks for your topic and good day.

I agree. English language is a Universal language which we must master.I've been working for 2 years already in an outsourcing company and most of them prefer a employee that has another language aside from English Language.

Well, thank you for sharing that link with us. I wonder how much they charge to learn a subject and if you have to go there in person. I would love to go to London, but hardly think if I was there that I would have time to go to school. I have found a web site that will allow you to learn Spanish for free. It is my goal, in the next year or so to increase my learning of the Spanish language. Right now, I just know some very basics of the language. And it is probably things that people are taught in the first grade nowadays. It is amazing how many students learn so much about different languages in school these days. It think Spanish is pretty much taught across the U.S. in primary school. And in European and other countries, English is taught across the board. So if Americans are switching to Spanish, are these other people going to be left out in the cold. :)

I also started liking to learn languages two years ago. I want to learn all kinds of languages if possible but I know that is not possible. That is why my priority is French then Italian then Japanese. I tried learning two languages at the same time but I found it very confusing. That is why I am only focusing on one language at a time. So far, I just know only three languages. My mom loves the fact that I still want to learn even after graduating from college anymore. Learning never stops. :)

Yes I really would want to but I don't have much time right now. I try to learn a different language just by reading translation books and even watching movies that have a different language. If given the chance, I really would want to learn Japanese because I want to go to Japan some other time. I also want to learn Korean and Spanish, and many more.

Since I haven't bee out from the country yet, I am learning our different dialects in my country first. Before I travel around the world, I want to see first the different places in my country.

I studied European Languages when I was in college, later went for an MA in Spanish. Besides English, Filipino, and Spanish, I also speak a little French (my minor). However, I would like to study some more, perhaps Italian or German. I guess languages are just my thing. They're very interesting to me. :)

yeah, they say there's no better career than being a student, that's really true for me. being a student is always happy and since you learn something new, you would feel that your life is colorful. I would like to learn a new language too. I right now can speak only chinese and English, and I would like to learn French, German and Spanish as well, i am also interested in Korean and Japanese. But I am going to start from french. I won't join any college or school who train language, i have to take advantage of my spare time after work, and learn by myself. I have a full time job so I have to do this. Good luck!

Hi Irene, It must be fun to learn other languages. I remember back in college Spanish was part of the General Eduction, meaning it's a must to take this subject. However Spanish was abolished later on.. The two languages I wanna learn are Spanish and French.

Well this is a very interesting question and the short answer is yea there are multiple languages that i consider incredibly interesting and Would like to learn. I have a pretty strong grasp on Spanish and i would like to learn either Japanese italian and Germaan. They all sound really cool when spoken. Plus I know a bunch of people who speak all of these languages and it would be nice if i communicate with them using their own language. If my grandma was here (God rest her soul) I would love her to be speaking italian with me

Irene3184, you mention only Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin?)as important languages for travelers. You're forgetting the single most important language- English. I am fluent in five languages, and so I have a bit of knowledge when it comes to learning new ones. What makes this course so unique? Also, I don't mean to be rude, but English doesn't seem to be your first language. May I ask what your first language is?

Didn't I mention the English language? Well, the United International College encourages also most people to learn first the English language before learning another language.Sorry if I forgot to specify the English language.Thanks.

I love words and languages. One of my biggest dreams is to be able to speak a whole lot of different languages. Unfortunately, I don't have a very good ear for languages. I found that out the hard way :( Still, I take your point about being able to converse in the local langugae, especially while you're travelling.I know for sure that being able to communicate in the local language will give you an edge in many instances. But thanks for the link because I plan to check it out. May be there's hope for me!
