What is it that makes the American people different from others around the world? Why do so many people want to come and live in America? Why was America able to become the worlds super power in less than 200 years?

We became the leader because of Capitalism, Individualism, and our ability to think outside of the box. If something needs to be done, or a need arises, our entrepreneurial spirit can come up with the solution. Socialists do not have that ability because the government does not allow for independent though, or thought outside the "norm". That is the big difference and our advantage.

It's the freedom we have to do whatever we're capable of. We can start new businesses, learn whatever we want, make choices that suit our families, live where we like. With choices like those, our creativity and self reliance isn't squelched like it is where there is much less freedom. We know that if we work hard and smart, we can better ourselves. That means a lot, maybe everything when it comes to a country.

I would have to say its because of freedom. If we really think about it, we take a lot of things for granted being Americans. People in other countries are forbidden to do a lot of things they we might do in our life. Look at some of the things that people from these different counties have to go through. I have a teacher that came from a different county that had his arm and leg chopped off just because they thought he was guilty of something. You don't even have to think about what the answer was, when one of the students ask where he would rather be. All I got to say is than God that I'm in the United States of American.
