Did God creat evil?

I really understand the dilemma. Once we believe in God and that all was created by Him, one has no choice but to believe that he created evil as well. Maybe it is part of the plan, a way to balance things? I find that the possibility that evil was created so people can show their faith to be far fetched and naive. Personally I am inclined to the balance thing. There is an opposite for everything in this world, so if there is good, it follows that there should exist its opposite as well. That we can choose, shows that we are not dumped into the game without weapons.

maybe you have that doubt about God why you ask this question...to clarrify this...God did not create evil, but evil is the absence of God or goodness...lets make some example..lets take a glass of heat water...the water is hot due to the high temperature...but when the high temperature is gone the result is coldness...the same with evil, bad things happen because there is no goodness which is God...I hope i make a little clarrification to you...Godbless

Didn't God create everything?? Can you define evil??? Doesn't the definition depend on the person who defines it??? God solves the problem by one simple act. Everything you do in life comes back to you in time. You see what you give the world. In time you UNDERSTAND!! Those who do evil acts simply do not understand what it is they do. Understanding will always come.

As far as I know God did not create, it was born by itself. Now when computers were invented, no one though of viruses. But viruses were either created or born. So there is always a balance between good & bad. It's said according to the bible that Devil was once an angel & god threw him out of heaven because of his bad thoughts. He later tried to take revenge against god & hence evil was created. Happy Lotting
