"You are hereby ordered to apperar at 8:30 AM on the 6th day of October in the BOULDER MUNICIPAL COURT to answer the below charges of violation."I met big problem this week and was indicted for threatening bodily injury.What should I do now?Especially I am not good at speaking English.

I agree with Hatley...you need to get a lawyer NOW. You do not want to go into court and defend yourself without legal counsel. Don't delay in doing this because you can't get a lawyer the day before you're supposed to appear in court. Good luck to you.

hi vzihan do you have a lawyer, could you get a court appointed lawyer that wouldnt cost you,you need some help and I also think that in courts they usually have people who can help someone who uses English as a second language. also do you have any family members who are better at English than yourself. If you just threatened bodily harm you might not get such a stiff sentence but you sound like you need someone with you to help you.legal aid should be able to get you a free court appointed lawyer to help you get through this. I am pretty sure most american courts have a person who can help someone who is not an American or at least doesnt speak English well. a translator.

You can go to this site, bidsfromlawyers.com - you can post your case, lawyers review it and bid for your case. Then you can chose from the list of lawyers. The best lawyer you think will work on your case would be the one you have to chose.
