i and many others with various different beliefs have been accused of doing satan's work for him. so apparently beelzebub is a workshy couch potato too concerned with manicuring his hooves to actually do his job?
have you encountered this kind of intolerance because you have different beliefs to someone else - it does not just come from religious fundamentalists btw- i have seen atheists and others come out with this kind of thing too (not usually involving satan admittedly but fairly intererant nonetheless).

I've heard "Devil's work" so many times that I figured he never slept and was constantly working...

Only if you consider delegation laziness. ;~D
I think we all do Satan's work at times. One of the times is if we use God, Christ or scripture as a weapon of our own defensiveness.

Doing Satan's work is going against the will of God. I believe we will all be judged, but the harshest judgement will be reserved for those who claim to know and love God but only used that knowledge and relationship against others.

There are some stories about Satan doing a great deal of work to get somebody's soul, so I guess not everybody believes he is.
I'm not sure I believe he "is"...

I do think mr beelzebub has enough willing workers, even among the unordained, that he must surely lead a life of relative leisure. The last time I saw him in a picture, he was, in fact, donned in a red retro leisure suit from the 70s.
