It has been a tough month for former republican leader Newt Gingrich, and his American Solutions for Winning the Future. Twice in the last three weeks, his organization has invited two sucessful women to their 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year dinner. Then they decided to disinvite both of them because his organization didn't look to see what they did for a living. One of them worked in the Adult Video business, and the other is the owner of a "gentlemen's club" in Dallas. One of this organizations goals are to create jobs and prosperity, and both of these women have done that. So why do you think Newt would disinvite them from this dinner?

For the same reason federal programs are "disinviting" ACORN from their activities... American Solutions for Winning the Future don't want to be associated with the activities of the women. Think of it this way. While it is a bit embarrassing for Newt Gingrich to have to reneg on an invitation, imagine the scandal that the incompetent press would trump up if the women actually did speak at the dinner?

Should we talk about the tough few months for Obama?

It looks like Newt is using the same people that Obama is for his venting process. Not a good idea

Obama has had a hard few months, and so has the country. The sad part about conservatives right now is how much I heard on here that democrats were hoping for the country to do bad during the Bush years. Now, it is the conservatives, that are hoping for the country to struggle under Obama. How does it feel to want your country to fail? Doesn't that make you UNAMERICAN?
