given the well known reliability of statistics and opinion polls - especially those quoted by such respected sources as the onion (and some others which i won't mention because of the fear of being pounced on) i have decided to do away with all that polling, surveying nonsense and basically, erm, make some up (won't make any difference really). so here goes, breaking news: MYLOT STATISTICS 0.001% of mylotters have called another user a poo-related word. 35% of mylotters posting in politics have called another user a poo-related word. 0.5% of mylotters negatively rate people simply because they don't like them 40% of politics posters neg away 35% of the people posting in religion have called another user an ambassador for satan. 6% of mylotters clearly have only one interest 60% of politics posters clearly have only one interest 78% of politics posters have been known to lose their tempers 80% of users in religion do not believe that anybody except them and their mams knows the Truth 48% of users in politics thinks the other side are stupid 40% of users in politics regularly points this out. 99.99% of all users avoid politics and religion for the above reasons ok getting bored now. hope these irrefutable figures make you think.

Hi jb, very glad to see you posted this in pe and not in politics so none of your points can be proven. Personally I never go into politics as opinions from across the pond tend to be ignored, plus for all of the above reasons. I'm really happy though that your incredibly popular pe section for satire has taken off so well.and the no ranting rule has been adhered to.

I am happy to be one of the 99% .Doesn't matter how much you know your gonna get bashed right or wrong.No sense fighting with close minded people is there.Very good pole ,it seems accurate to me.

there's a few ok ones who can have a proper discussion with those they diagree with but plenty who either just prattle away and pay no attention to anybody else or have decided that calling other people infantile names is an appropriate way to dabate something.

How scientific was this poll? Who choose the questions? This is important for everyone to know, or they might think you were biased and partial! Prove it was honest! Somehow! Please! Your good friend from a past life! tdemex

What great statistics...and I'm sure very well researched, um, before you made them up! I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't pretty much right on point with some of them.

I am just curious as to what your margin of error is on these statistics.....something like + or - 99% LoL Cute though...certainly gave me a chuckle...and i would almost have to agree with most of it...
@jb78000 (15139)

close enough - margins of error are actually +/- 100%. or maybe 200% top quality figures you'll find
