Life Insurance policy

Before the more 'serious' tone, I'd like you guys to read this one first. Bernie was unfortunate enough to be hit by a truck and ended up in the hospital. His best friend Morris came to visit him. Bernie struggles to tell Morris, "My wife Sadie visits me three times a day. She's so good to me. Every day, she reads to me at the bedside." "What does she read?" asks Morris. "My life insurance policy." ..... Hehehe.. Anyhow, my question. Does your spouse know about your life insurance policies? Do you think it's safe to do so? or is it not safe?

I think that would depend on the couple, like in my case, I trust my husband and the primary reason why I got a life insurance is so that I can be sure that my husband and kids will have something to use as they adjust for losing me. Especially since I am the one that has a regular income. I am also sure that my husband loves my kids and will not keep the money for himself. That is why I should make sure that my husband knows that I have a life insurance policy so that he can make the claim. If the couple do not trust each other, then they will surely keep secrets from each other.

I think it's common that husbands or wives know about the insurance policies of their spouses, perhaps the joke was just to make things lighter, that's all. But yeah, it's good the trust the partner - that's why you married them in the first place. Thank you for sharing, apologies for the very late reply, I do hope you're still in mylot though. Have a great mylot experience ahead!
