Do you get mad when someone cuts in line?

Cutting in line is one of my pet peves. If you were there first there should be no reason for someone to cut in line right in front of you. When people do this it makes me mad. They don't relize how rude they are being by cutting in line in front of someone. I have better manners then that. If someone offered for you to go in front of them I do believe then it is ok. To just do it with noone saying you can is not right. I hate it when people do this around Christmas because lines are so long. It is so fustrating for everybody. It can even cause a fight . Believe me it has happened. For all you line cutters out there please don't do it. I am sure you would not want someone doing it to you.

That is soooo wrong! People cutting in line has always mad me mad! I mean, I understand it if they're cutting through and they keep walking but other than that, even if someone offered them... I mean unless that someone was the last person in the line because if they did do that, that person cut everyone behinds the offer-er!

oh i hate when people cut in line especally when it is for the buss, some people will just stand anywhere and then when the buss gets there cut in front about like five people it really makes me angry like cant they see that there is a line and that they are to stand in back of it like seriously sometimes i just want to start yelling at these people and tell them where the back of the line is. Happy Mylotting!

Well it really will piss anyone off! There's this one time when my husband and I were to register for the election and then we're nearing the registration desk finally and then two people went right in front! Almost everyone reacted "violently" but they said they were with the people in front and that they have reserved seats. So we let it pass and then after a while a group of people, again!, cut in line, and my husband finally loses his temper and we ended up not registering!

Yes, definitely it not good to cut in line. I am sure that if someone does it to anyone, they would not be happy about it. So the point it, we should respect each other. Unless of course there is a valid reason to do so... like in an emergency, then I would understand.

hi tuckersheri yes mine also as it is just so unfair. what I have had done to me around Christmas is for a clerk to single out a good looking man who is behind me and wait on him as if me a plain elderly woman was not even there. I said, just a moment I was first in line here maam. she turned red and made another clerk wait on me. the man scowled at me a nd I glared back at 'him, the nincompoop. If I had not said something he would have 'got away with that. how rude can a clerk be.

UGH! line cutters drive me nuts especially if I have been patiently standing in line for awhile and then someone cuts in front of me at the last minute

Having someone cut in line ahead of me can be quite annoying. I probably wouldn't mind nine times out of ten if that person would just ask permission first. We all have to wait our turns in line. Just because someone is in a hurry doesn't give them the right to jump ahead.

Eww.. I hate those kinda people. It looks as if they never been taught manner for whole their life. It's a shame! I would complain if someone being rude to me, and tell them it can be tolerated. It's not just about you, but also the people who already wait in the back of you.

Yes it is very annoying, especially when you told them and they just smile as if they were still proud on what they do. During college days when we pay our tuition we have to fall in very long line and some students manage to be at the cashier's window. Unfair, then when its your turn, the cashier window will be close for lunch.

Who doesn't? I mean, I was earlier and I deserve my place in line. I put effort on lining up and they just go wherever they want to do. No way. They should learn to respect other people.

I speak up when someone cuts in line, but in as polite a way as possible. I simply say, "Excuse me, sir, but we were here first." I think if you do it politely and try to seem like the bigger person, most people will back down. And in some cases it could be an honest mistake.

I'm English, and the English are famous for forming queues at every opportunity. We also hate it when anyone cuts in in front of us. I'm only just over 5 feet tall, but I grow in my anger when someone pushes in front of me. It should be a hanging offence, IMO. We now live in Spain, where you don't find formal queues, but everyone waiting in the butcher's or at a market stall knows there place and will soon tell anyone who cuts in to wait their turn. The Germans and French are the worst offenders, but they get short shrift from the Spanish.
