This question is about how much you love your computer and how much you want to survive if something wrong happened and you must sell your computer....of course that is not a big deal to sell a computer if you want buy new one...but if you must just sell and don t buy another computer...how will be your life? Hard decision, i am sure, a computer is part of our life now, in this times...but if you must buy food for kids, or for yourself, you will send your computer? Of course that you can earn money to internet, but is possible to earn so many money to cover your needs? i don t think so...

Wow this is a really hard decision to make. I mean I love my computer so much. I've spent so much upgrading it till its becoming quite a beast now. But if it comes to responsibility, then a man's got to do what a man's got to do. Still, this is only an opinion. I really can't be sure what will I do if the situation arises. What about you?

I would sell it for sure. Get a proper job. Believe it or not, the computer may bring you some money, but mostly it is a way of wasting time... movies, games, chating, etc.

No i would not sell my computer as this is another way to make a small amount of money and with the way things are every little amount is better than no amount.I would sell my car first as that is worth alot more money and get a smaller one rather than get rid of something that can make me money.

Even though browsing the internet is fun, the internet isn't so important to me that I would starve myself for it. If my family needed money and food, I would definitely sell my computer. There's a possibility to earn money online but I can probably get a few hundred dollars for my laptop and that's probably going to help feed the damily better and faster than online earnings. Still, I love the internet and wouldn't give it unless necessary.

Certainly! Still, Ice, I'd rather make a few bucks here and there to add to my ever-shrinking income, so I wouldn't have to make the choice.

hi icesmile, living without a computer is very difficult but impossible without food...It is indeed a tough decision, when put into a desperate situation like that I might consider pawning it first if I can get a good price so I can redeem it back. Life would be difficult without a computer. I'm not sure, but maybe it can be a good collateral in obtaining a loan. Whatever, any measure as long as I can redeem it back. but food is more important in life than a computer i am sure u would agree.

If it's for my family needed than I will sell. Because I think family needed are all that we must make sure to fulfilled first. But if I still have bike or car and computer, than I prefer to sell my bike/ car first.

Hi icesmile, naturally. If I did not have the money to feed my child would it be normal to let him starve so I could use a computer, I think not. What is the value of material things against a starving child?

No way! Nah-uh! Computer has been a part of my life! Even before I was born! Before something wrong would happen, of course I'll make sure that I am well prepared for that and I would never need to sell my computer! Well, this computer is a gift to me so...it is something that is close to me. As for the need of money, well, "God will provide"...

no, i won't sell my computer. in the first place, my laptop is a gift from my sister. i value things given and i don't want my sister to feel unappreciated if i part her gift away. besides, a lot of people have laptops or computers now. many computers have flooded the community and the prices have gone down. further, i cannot immediate sell my laptop as it is already a year older. buyers are choosy nowadays with the advent of new updated technology. laptops are not easily convertible into cash because a lot of people have their own. if i have no choice but to part away personal things in order to feed my children, i would have to find other items which are easily convertible to cash.

I won't let any of my thing for sale because I was financially drained and nothing to eat. I can borrow money still with my parents or friends. I won't sale anything especially my computer because it is a source of my earning.

It's just like this, would you want to eat your computer or could you even digest it? The answer is no. I am willing to give up my computer to have money to buy food.

Ideally, everyone's priority is to survive and keep alive, and if it takes selling your loved and ever dependable computer to keep it that way, why not, anyway, you can always buy a new one after everything goes back to normal, you can always earn as long as you keep yourself healthy and physically fit which I think is everbody's priority.

No, never. You know, I may not continue my daily life without my computer. Yes, a computer means everything for me. If I really need money, I may tend to borrow some from my best friends or do a part-time job to earn some extra money. At the same time, I can earn money on the Internet, if having no computer, I won't continue my jobs online and can't receive the payment from some websites. Although it is difficult to earn so many money to cover my needs, I can try my best to earn more. Yes, I can earn as much as money from the jobs offline.

Not really a difficult situation for me. You know I can assemble a new one if money comes. I wouldn't have to be the best specs. but at least I know how to select the best specs for my money. If I don't have any computer now that I had it sold, I can easily access several internet coffee, computer rental shop or simply use my office computer. Its a decision i will make if I really needed that money.
