Have you ever looked for something and it was right in front of your face?

I have lost my keys before and looked and looked for them. It seemed liked I looked forever. When I finally found them they were right in front of me. I felt so stupid that I had looked everywhere and they were right in front of me. I felt really good about finding them. I know this happens to alot of people. Sometimes when your in a hurry you seem to anxiously over look things with out even taking the time to relize what is in front of you.

it's nice to know silly things happen to all of all of us, long as we can have a laugh about it we'll have fun.

this happened to me just last week. I was getting ready to go to work, and I keep looking for my loose powder, I went around our apartment like 3 times, before I realized that it was sitting right in front of my face. I could have sworn it was not there when i started looking. hahahaha.

Oh many many times so much so that in frustration, I have felt as if the object has a life of its own and is playing hide & seek with me LOL but seriously, I know how frustrating it can be. Specially in emergency situations like when I’m cooking and as a last minute garnish I have to chop and add something and I know I kept the knife here but I just cant find it any where. Similarly for kitchen cloths…the wok’s burning and I’ve reduced the gas but just where did I keep that dam* cloth! OMG so many time…the door bell’s ringing but where did I put the key? LOL

Absolutely! I've had this happen to me soooo many times already. I'm known for being very forgetful in the office and at home. One minute I'm holding something and the next I'll be going crazy looking for the thing that I just held a minute ago. That's how forgetful I am. One time, I went crazy looking for my sunglasses. I looked all over the house and retraced my steps to places where I think I left it. All to no avail. And all the time it was just sitting on my head. My friends tell my that if my body parts were detachable, I'd be missing a limb or two right now, or maybe an eye, an ear, etc. You get the drift.... hahahaha...

yeah it happened to me a lot of times, and i couldn't remember those things anymore, one thing that i still remember is my cellphone case, i won't go out of the house without the case of my cellphone since i don't want it to get scratch inside my pocket, so i was looking for it and it seems that all of the cabinets and everywhere i've been looking for it but, only to find out that it was just right up in our fridge.

Yes it happens to me too... most of the time its ballpen... Hahahaha I always forgot where I put it. I was always requesting my office for ballpens everytime I misplace it... Funny because sometimes when I am so tired of looking for it and asked for replacement... there it is.... just there lying on the table or on my ears... hahahahahah....

It happens to me too. Once I kept looking for my driver's license, I know it's always in my wallet but there are times when I pull it out especially when I have to present it as an ID or something. The day before, I did just that so I checked it again if I left in my car's dasboard. I could't find it and I almost turned the car upside down looking for it. When I finally got tired, I checked my wallet again and lo and behold, it was there smiling at me. LOL cheers!

Oh my goodness, I have a story to beat out everyone! lol I was looking for my glass to refill it...I looked all over our kitchen, all over our living room...everywhere that I would have had my cup. I started to get mad, lol. I was just like..."WHERE else could it be?!?!?" I swear I thought I was going crazy...and as it turns out, I was... I was HOLDING the glass the entire time!!! lol

hi tuckersheri oh yes two days ago I wanted to go downstairs 'to a mental fitness class and looked all around my room. where is my handbag I yelled, I know I brought it up here, but it is not anywhere around. my roomie was all upset then I swiveled around in the desk chair I am sitting on now.wow. My handbag was sitting on the floor behind my desk chair just where I had put it. I did feel so stupid. My roommate was tickled pink. I guess she thought I was going to accuse her of taking it but that thought never entered my mind. I just could not understand what I had done with it.

I don't remember about the incident mentioned above happened to me. This happens to my father almost everyday. He is very poor at finding things. He doesn't have an order in life. He just leave his things here and there because he knows that my Mom will take care of his things. He always misses his towels and underwares. He will do a half an hour of searching and finally complain to my mother. My mother will find it out in a minute. Lol.

What you said is quite right. When in a hurry, it is difficult for you to look things as you are anxious to find them out. But after you carefully looking for it, it is just near your hand. I used to look for my pens, I found them just covered by the books.

I do that all time. something will somehow get misplaced (even though I KNOW where I put it) and after I tear up the house looking for it it usually reappears right where I started which is the exact place I KNOW I put it it drives me nuts!

Not in front of my face, but above my head! hahahaha, I had some instances that I could not find my eyeglasses. I had looked everywhere. And I had asked from co-workers if they found it. Yes, they answered... and it was just right there on top of my head! hahaha. It helps being forgetful at times... you are able to infuse humor to this life.

Hi tuckersheri! i like this question very funny.. Yes, I did. There are times that I've been looking for something but it was right in front of my face. But instead of feeling stupid about that I just make fun of my self for being absent minded.
