I do not know what fruit contains the ingredient to prevent cancer so that I just eat different kinds of fruit. In this way I think I can have balanced nutrition and absorb possible anti-cancer element contained in some fruit. Scientists always try to find something helpful to cure or prevent the cancer, however no definite outcome from their research can show some ingredients in the fruit can help with cancer. If they really find it, they can try to extract these materials from the fruit and invent some medicine. What we can do now to achieve health is just to balance our diet and do more excercise every week. Only in this way we can reduce the possibilities to get cancer.

Most fruits contain an antioxidant called vitamine C which is better to prevevt cancer.Well vitamine C can not only prevent cancer but also prevent other illnesses. So eating more fruits is good for our health. There are also some vegetables which are better to fight cancer like tomatos, carrots.lycopene in tomatos and carotene in carrots are main ingredients to anti cancer.

I can garauntee that eating pineapples will not turn your teeth yellow. However, the acidity in the pineapple may cause acid erosion, so brush your teeth like they said! Tomatoes are great full of anitoxidants and so are avocadoes.

yeah, avocado is also rich in anti-oxidant but i think it is high in sugar content so it is not for diabetic people.

Tomatoes are best in fighting cancer because of the lycopene. I think berries, grapes, cherries, too, for they are rich in vitamin C and they have antioxidant properties. There was a study before about the cancer preventing properties of the lowly camote (sweet potato). Just a friendly reminder, Karbuks, I think it is not right to brush the teeth right after eating something sour. My dentist told me that. She advised me to avoid brushing right after I ate mangoes. But you can check with your dentist to be sure.

I think a balanced diet of most fruits can help us to avoid cancer, but I read an article a few months back that broccoli is one of the best vegetables to eat. The article was about a man with colon cancer who refused surgery and chemotherapy and ate and juiced loads of raw broccoli. When he was tested he had halted the cancer in its tracks. I like broccli but I know many do not, but I decided to eat more of it. Every day, I eat lots of it raw in a salad. I have juiced it once or twice, but it's a very strong taste when it's juiced as it is more condensed. Years ago, I went to a nutritionist because of poor health, and he told me that I needed to eat more vegetables than fruit, because eating too much fruit means that I would be taking in too much sugar, and I don't have a good tolerance for sugar. - Derek

Hi karbuks, ya you are correct, because pineapple is one of the anti cancer fruit. And one more is ginger root. It is not actually a fruit. But when it added to fresh juices, it helps to break our blood cells into large ant they will fight against cancer cells.

Tomatoes are a full of anti-oxidants and thought to be rich in anti-cancer properties. Tomato ketchup and puree are even better as they are more concentrated forms. I eat tomatoes a lot and when I had fresh ones in the garden I had them with every meal.
