Repeated terror attacks in major cities of Pakistan are terrifying not only to people of Pakistan but also to the world as Pakistan seems to destabalize more and more ........... Since US and Pakistan joint millitary operation for last few years are not able to create peace in the country the bigger question is who is supporting terror organisations ? I fear if terror attacks in Pakistan continue to boom it will become another Iraq or Afghanistan ..... Do you think Pakistan will Be Another Iraq or Afghanistan Due To Terrorism ?

Hi Ganesh. We've had news reports of the latest bombing attack in Pakistan, and it's dreadful enough, but even worse when you hear that it was designed to happen in a market place, with the main targets being women and tiny children. I was in tears, and I don't think I was alone. I agree that there's nothing holy in targeting innocent people like this, or in killing and causing destruction, but I think extremists have this indoctrinated in them from a very young age, and they don't see others as being human beings, just as cannon fodder. I keep hoping that sanity will prevail, but to be honest, I'm like you - I expect this to get worse over the next few years, and not just in Pakistan, but the whole world over. Maybe everything will have to break down completely before we wise up and have to rebuild it all with better and fairer intentions.

I fear this might be true in the future years. the pak people are the worst to suffer and i feel very exhausted and sad for the condition of these people. the government is unable to control the culprits and so the rate of terrorism is increasing at an accelerating rate. world powers should help pak to outcome these problems.

I think they all ready have! If they would have done the fight 2 years ago they would have had a chance of stopping the problem they have now! but they tried to play with both sides and now they have a big problem! The real scary part is they have neucular bombs I'm mean some very big ones, if the terrorist get a hold of those there's going to be a global crisis as we have never witnessed before! tdemex

We have a proverb YOU GET WHAT YOU SOW. And another EVEN IF YOU GIVE MILK TO A SNAKE, THE SNAKE WILL BITE YOU. Look at history when Pakistan was bourn. They attacked India by sending Razakars in Kashmir and this trend is continueing even today. And a universal fact: A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD IS BOUND TO HARM YOU IF NOT HANDLED PROPERLY. The terrorists groomed by their masters for years are now acting against their own ex-masters. This is a very bad and frightening situation for innocent citizens of Pakistan and other contries, especially its neighbors. Everybody have to pay price of past wrong adventures of a few misguided persons and countries. Let us hope that PEACE prevails in Pakistan soon and world is made more safer.

I surely surely hope not! But it sounds like maybe it will, or is.. I wish all able nations would band together and root out all terrorism (and then disband of course).. But it seems more and more like no one knows what to do about it and it just goes on and will likely continue to grow..

I think Pakistan will turn worst than Afghanistan or Iraq. Iraq was never unstable till USA occupied it and Afghanistan is another just case. Some parts of Pakistan as the reports say, has turned into the hub of lawlessness and the nerve centre of jihadi training. The latest attacks seem to be in retaliation to renewed US help to that country. Its for the people of that country to decide whether they want to continue with US help and fight the jihadis and face regular such deadly disruptions or if they want to succumb to the pressure tactics of the jihadis and spiral down to anarchy.

Pakistan could become very destabilized without proper leadership.I have not be especially pleased with the currant leaders. They seem to want help but are less than willing to put for effort to control situations or improve conditions. With this amount of weakness it would be easy for terror organizations to sneak in and make promises of better things if people would join them.

I certainly hope not! Every Pakastani I've ever met has been an interesting and compassionate person so I have a very good impression of the country. Unfortunately, they (like my country, America) are at the mercy of their greedy politicians. Mrs. Clinton on a recent visit practically accused Pakistan of harboring Al Queda, which I don't think was very diplomatic but I'm kind of relieved that someone spoke honestly and directly. I think these things are beyond the ordinary person's ability to control, at least until we stand up and tell our governments that we are sick and tired of being at their mercy! None of us want to be at war, we don't want our children to die and we don't give a damn about their quest for power!!!! We need to stand up and take control of our governments-especially mine-and tell them that WE are the boss, they are the employees!!!!

Firstly you say that will Pakistan be another Iraq or Afghanistan, I think you don't know anything at all. They already are like them. These attacks that has been taking place in Pakistan is nothing but a publicity stunt done by Pakistan and they are very good at it. The do these bombings and hurt people from other countries but not Pakistanis. Pakistan is a Terror Hub and they must be stopped before something bad happens. The leading countries and the UN must step up and do something about this.
