Do you have goals for living? or are you just living life?

I'm concerned when I read some people's 'goals' because I didn't really have 'goals' for myself, well, not really on the long-term basis. I'm more of just living life as it should be. How about you?

My goals were/are: 1. To buy a house. That was achieved when I was 19 years old. 2. To travel around the world. That was achieved when I was 20 years old. 3. I have children: a girl and a boy. I now have a daughter and 2 boys. 4. To pass my practical driving test. Hopefully that will happen soon.

Yes, I would easily say that I have Goals in my life, and a lot of them are concerning living, and helping to make my life better, as well as the world around me as well. Personally I think goals are very important as without them you just go around living with no real expectations, dreams or desires and often could be missing what god is wanting for you in your life as well.

Hi,laydee,i don't have a goals for entire life, but i have short term goals. In my childhood days i always compared to wearing stylish clothes and i realized by pressurizing my parents.Later my concentration on studies, set a goal to study BSc[Agriculture] and i completed, this target i was set because my father's boss was studied the same degree. Then in getting marriage..children..selection of job...now self employed[http://www.newjatrophaworld.com] ..all short term.I don't have any target now for future. All the best and have a nice time.

I often find that having no true goals adds extra flavor to life. Sure, goals are great and purposeful. However, they can lead to disappointment and unneeded stress. I've noticed that since I've left my goals behind, life is much more carefree. As long as you are in a good place in life, goals aren't necessary. It's almost like making a schedule for yourself, it limits you. Take a vacation from goals once you're comfortable with where you are. Don't worry about what you are going to be and concentrate on who you are now. Live in the present for awhile and just enjoy life.

I used to have lots of goals in life. Then my back problems got the best of me. No job, hard time paying the bills. I used to think life would be nice when I grow up. But, things only seem to get harder. I wanted a life of happiness , going on vacation. Just living life without problems. I wanted a nice house, a place to call home. But, even that is too much to ask know. I wanted to find a man that would look after me and love me for who I am. But, that is just a fairy tale. hahaha! I wanted to be a singer and made a CD, that too was a disaster. Oh yes, my life was filled with goals. Know I just live one day at a time and hope things will get better.

At the moment i am living one day at a time.I try to earn money on here as that way i can have a few pence left after paying all those horrid bills. My only goal i really have is to pay the mortgage earlier as that way i will have money for myself as well as for the family.

As for me,the GOAL in my heart just likes a spirit pushing me to walk on,to face to any situation happens in my life bravely.I had an experience before if people have no goal in their lives, you know, just as people say, like a peice of meat walking on the street without soul.

goals for living - For the long run, one who have goals are more likely to succeed at last.
I have many goals for living and I think a life with some goals can be more likely to be successful. Without an apparent goal, one may feel confused sometimes and don't know what to do next step when meeting some troubles. What's worse, people who have no goals may lose their directions of life. Perhaps some too high goals may make people feel stressful. But for the long run, people who have goals can get success easily. It is the maening of life if one just living life, which is my opinion.

hi laydee.. Before when i'm on my college I have a lot of plans for my future. But as days passes by and nothing interested happens in my life I cannot decide on what I really want to do now. But I think, having goals in life is very important for you to attain what you want. Maybe, those who end up without nothing in their life are those person who live life as it is. They don't have dreams and paths that they want to go through thats why they end up with nothing. There is also this law " The Law of Attraction", which become a big help for me. It simply goes just like this "Positive thoughts attract positive things"... i hope you could start planning for your life right now.. Goodluck and God Speed...
