Running away to join the circus

When my colleague asked me how I was today, I said "I want to run away and join the circus". He said he'd come with me and we decided our talents were best suited to being clowns. What would your chosen role in the circus be & why?

Now that would be good... I promise not to knock you off the tightrope with water squirted from the oversized flower on my lapel

hmm i would definately be the big cat and elephants trainer as i love exotic animals and would be nice to them and not make them go crazy like some of those wackos do :)

That's 5. You are now the 5th friend I've identified that I don't get notifications for even though they're turned on. Hmph at myLot. lol I'd either be a clown or I'd work with the animals.

OK, I'll give you a choice of the plumed prancing ponies or the horn honking seals.

Yeah, you prove yourself by getting a decent tune from the seals and I'm sure we could arrange promotion... just dont try to run before you can walk

I'd be the cutie selling Pop Corn, Apple Candy or admission tickets LOL. I can't really think of anything that isn't risky in a circus except for those things. I most definitely do not want to be a clown so that leaves me to those three options as far as I can think of joining the circus.

Is it the wig or the shoes that put you off the idea of being a clown?? You could clean up after the elephants if you like

Eeeewwww! I wasn't thinking of someone becoming a human Hoover to complete the task!

Cleaning up after the elephants! Now, there's a job that would really suck. . I guess, that would still be better than cleaning up after the tigers and lions.

Hi Wizzywig, I couldn't really think of what my "talents" would suit in the circus but the thing I thought of was the Ringmaster. Okay, here is where it would get iffy, since I have a fear of speaking in front of large crowds, someone else would have to be in the ring and I would do the voice over....or I think I would learn how to be a juggler or one of the acrobats. That might make more sense or I should get over speaking in front of crowds, grab a cool top hat and wear whatever the ringmasters wear but with a mask! I'm getting carried away, perhaps if there is room for another clown....

Perhaps you could be a ringmaster wearing a clowns wig and facepaint??

Then I may not be taken seriously (because you know the ringmaster is a very serious position)and others may think I am a clown impersonating the ringmaster and get angry and I may get booed or worse, that would only solidify my phobia of speaking in front of crowds. Worst nightmare come true.

I would like to be the guy that shots out of a cannon! I know it isn't much, but it would be a rush everytime. To go flying over the entire area. Just would hate it if I miss the landing. Hopefully the clowns that sets up the landing spot puts it in the right place. If I did miss the landing, I could always say that I went out with a bang! (Or is it a splat?!)

Well,I love trying to make people laugh..but at times Yeah I feel the need to run away from it all and join a circus to.. so a clown is being one good option for me..with bright orange fuzzy hair..oversized pants and shoes that I keep tripping over..big red nose and a huge polka dotted tie..

Me and my sister...June 2009 - This is a photo I took of me and my sister last June 22,2009..
Well, I have auburn red hair( of course it's a dye job and only fuzzy mostly in the mornings) and since I have a cold..yep my nose is red...and I do like my shoes loose and comfy..( I have on those crocs) bit no polka dotted tie..

Obviously, my hair is completely natural.... well, that's what i told my boss. Crocs (well, pretend ones) are my shoe of choice too. I bought one pair and found them so comfy that I went back to the shop and bought a pair in every colour they had in my size.... beige, pink, turquoise, navy, grey, white.... I dont even own a pair of shoes with heels! BTW, I think they've got your age wrong on your profile... judging from the picture, they've added years on!

I would be a trapeze artist. Flying gracefully through the air no safety net! My very sparkly outfit would have to be fitted with airbags just in case lol!

I think hitting the ground in your inflating sparkly suit might rival the clowns.... so i think we'd have to give you the safety net after all.

Yeah you are probably right, safety net it is then!

Probably the girl who sells the merchandise the people who attend the circus buy. Haha I don't think I'd be good at much in the circus. Except drawing people's portraits, but that's more for a carnival, am I right?
