Magic wand at mylot !!! just hurry up and see the magic.

Hello everybody,
Have you checked your reputation. A magic wand appeared from no where and made most of the stars different colored. Have we been degraded? Those with blue start are with pink and also with nine.
what is this after all? do you have any clue to it. I am sad that this is applied on all. Could be a bug or what could change. I was with 90 and now with 60. A loss of 30 lol.

We were not the same before... mmmm does this mean that myLot are behind this and that it is some sort of downgrade I wonder?

Diana and you share the same colour. But most others have turned pinky. Of course it is a matter of shock. after so much of hard work if it has to happen this way who would be happy?

I noticed it too but when I checked someother myLotters it has happened to them as well. Now I am cool as a cucumber. It could be a tech. glitch or may be they are adjusting but as long as those who were earlier at my level have come down to the same level as me, everything is hunky dory (lol)!!

Well, I was bright red till now so I’ll have to check after posting this discussion LOL…I think mylot got fed up of so many nine and ten and decided to send us thru the whole process again!!!

I have no idea but as it is generalised we can only hope for some clarification from myLot once they awake.

It is an obvious glitch because by the look of it there are no more tens anymore. I wonder what caused this and whether it will be fixed, otherwise we are in for a lot of work to get back our ratings! It may be worth reporting it what do you think?

Well paula, if it is not restored does it mean that we had not been doing our best that now we have to raise our standard? Are not you confident of your clutch here and do did not have invaluable input so far? No, i think it is a glitch only.

Please read the FAQs and you will realise that the star rating DOES affect earnings. That is the whole point of them and not for decoration

Yes, the stars do affect the earnings, so I hope everything would be back to normal soon. I know that everyone has worked hard to make a good reputation here, so we would all be disappointed if this problem isn't fixed soon.

i haven't noticed nor see that. well i hope that won't affect our earnings here. i was demoted a year back, from 10 to 9 and i was hurt that time. i am glad that i maintain my 10 star now. as of to date, it isn't change so i guess i am a good girl here.

Myself I haven't been on here in months. Today is the first time in about three months. So I haven't noticed yet. That is strange though. I'm going to go see if mine has changed.

The magic wand lost its power lol. This thing had occurred yesterday evening. All the rating had gone down. Those with 10 and 9 had turned 6 and others as per their present reputation. But it is resolved now. Might be it was a glitch.

I just surprised with the same. I was working with my old discussions and suddenly my star turned into 6, I shocked. Then I checked the other responses all peoples star those who had a 9 and 10 star turned into 6. I just contacted one of my friends online he told me it is a technical problem and same thing happened once in earlier also. He is a senior member and had similar experience earlier. He told me no need to worry, it will be alright soon.

I just went for a nap after my lunch and just logged in to comment back so many responses I suddenly saw a 'pinky' sitting on my head. I could not believe for sometime and then started the mission and saw no red, no yellow no blue were to be seen and posted this discussion as to know why this is after all

Yeah, I've noticed about that a while ago. When I saw it, I asked myself who would do such a thing?! Then, I immediately went to check one of the discussions I have started just to see whether there was any response that has made some people gone mad or something. I then noticed that other users have actually faced the same thing. Red to pink, yellow to green... I wonder why...

Hi dipak,
First I was taken aback to see that I had turned 6 with pink and immediately I started looking for those with 10 and nine and was horrified to discover that the same scenario prevailed there too. do not know , it could be technical problem or we all lack quality discussion.:)

yes this magic wand has baffled everyone in mylot.
All of them are down in the ratings with a big difference of ranks
I don't know much about how ratings system works but at this point of time it has confused even old users of mylot.
Everybody seems to be unhappy due to lowered ratings.
Anyway soon the mystery will be unfolded and the confused mylotters will be happy again as ever.

This is not so easily soluble puzzle man. You know unless mylot admin has done it it is beyond any troll. there must be some mistake or some mission. One thing that brings solace is that equality is maintained.

This is not the case. We have been responding and commenting back and doing all other activities. That this degradation in rating is not because what you think. The cause is something else. Beyond yours or mine comprehension.

krajibg look at your star again you are now back to where you were.evidently mylot admins had a glitch and they have repaired it so everything is once
again okay. you are back where you were before the glitch.

i guess this is not only the tenth discussion i have read and responded to. but i know for sure, it is another glitch. for more than a year now, i am enjoying a red star that goes up and down from 90 to 94. but suddenly, last night, as it was the time in our place when it happens, i found out that my red star turned pink with a 6 in it. anyway, that goodness, we are back now.

This is the fourth post I have answered on this topic. I haven't seen any change on my or several of my friends I have answered so far. I don't know what the thing is or what is going on. Change is supposed to be good. Not always for us though and something we have to go with in life. I would certainly be upset if mine was lower.
