Yeah I know it sound weird but believe me everytime I see a line of freshly washed clothes hanging on the line , I am just filled with so much appreciation and love. You see I hate doing my laundry and I have been known to leave my laundry for last minute, many times its a sunday that you find me doing my laundry because at that point its compulsory that I do it because any other option would mean that I wouldnt haev any clothes to wear to work the next day. So how many people are swelled up with emotion anytime you see your handi-work swyaing in a gentle wind in your backyard ?

Which brings me to JBs discussion. I have a cloths dryer and almost never hang anything to dry. In California, with our weather, you'd think more people would...

Though it was more about hanging laundry vs dryers as opposed to being in love with the sight. :-)

I have never actually felt love for clothes hanging out on a line but it does make me happy to see other people taking care of their laundry. I like seeing people hang clothes out also because there is too much technology these days and alot of old things have been forgotten.

Yes many people have washing machines that wash and dry so there is hardly any need to do things the old way which is now a novelty. Thanks for asnwering

Nope, can’t say I have ever fallen in love with clothes on the line! (LOL) Seriously though I do appreciate how beautifully fresh and nice smelling clean clothes are. At our house we have a small line and I do use my drier probably more than I should because for me, time is usually an issue.

I can appreciate it but going as far as saying I fall in love with it is a bit extreme. I like the smell of fresh, clean clothes so that is something I can most definitely appreciate.

Well first of all I wished I had a clothesline in my back yard, I would hang them up all the time instead of using my electricity drying them, and I think they smell so much fresher when you hang them outside. We used to hang our clothes when I was younger and still at home, it always made me feel good to see clothes hanging on the line, it made me feel like I accomplished something that day.

I love line dried clothes because they just smell so fresh. There is a sense of accomplishment when you walk outside and see 4 loads of wash hanging out to dry, of course you still have to bring it in and put it all away (one of my major downfalls - lol), but I understand the feeling of accomplishment. I have to admit too, everyone sleeps betting on bedding that was line dried too. It's like getting the fresh air during the day while you're sleeping.

I don't feel this way about laundry particularly, but I know what you mean. I get overly emotional when I look at trees.

clothes on the line - Everytime when I see a line of washed clothes hanging on the line, I will feel happy because I regard it as a great achievement!
For me I have ever fallen in love with clothes on the line. Everytime when I see a line of washed clothes hanging on the line, I will feel happy because I regard it as a great achievement! In fact, now, I am in a situation where you have experienced. Usually, I hate doing my laundry and I have been known to leave my laundry for last minute until I have no clothes to wear to work the next day. But once I have finished the work, then I hang all my clothes outside, I am really filled with so much pride and love with them.
