Can India win this test match?

Forget about winning India has to play well tomorrow so that sri lanka dont register there first win on indian soil.Sri Lankan batsmen really pit forward a great performance specially mahela's innings was chanceless.Now its india's turn,with a power packed batting line up,India should do well.Though its th elast day of the test match,but I still believe India can save this match.

With a lead of over 300 and only less than 5 sessions of play left winning is impossible on the pitch that they are playing. Srilanka have done the right thing by playing on till they had a lead of over 300 as not they would not have to bat to chase a total and win. They have put good pressure in India by asking them to try and get past the lead or lose by an innings. I think from here on India can only think of drawing this match. The top order has done better than in the last innings. They have contributed with their runs and more importantly spend some time in the middle which on one hand will make it impossible for srilanka to have a chance to score the needed runs if they bowl out india and on the other hand will give the batsmen some confidence to bat in the next test. We need Laxman to get some good batting match practice as he has been producing a string of bad scores even in the past 2 ranji matches. With Sehwag and Dravid out I guess the batsmen coming out tomorrow will have a job in their hands to firstly score the 140 odd runs without losing wickets and then pile on asmuch as they can till the end of day. Make sure that Srilanka doesnt get a moral victory from the match.

I think from here on for India there are only two options left either draw the match or lose the match. I do not think they can win from here. If Sri Lanka extend the lead to around 300 runs, then they have realistic chance of winning this match. Cheers! Ram

its very tough to win india.. but still there is a chance to win if our players produce best play. happy mylotting

thats depend upon the the top order wherther they play well or not if they play well then the result is approx. to me that they loose the match

I dont know whether India will win or not, but I hope that we win. I want my country to be on top winning all matches...........making us proud of being an Indian. I love my cricket team!

It sure is difficult to say but certainly not impossible. India can win this test match. But they will have to work hard to get there. A draw is the most likely result. Let's wait and see what happens.
