Smile costs you nothing but can gain a lot in life. Nevertheless many people find it difficult to smile openly. It is quite unfortunate that many people are not smiling enough to male every day life happier. What about you?

I think one can smile even when they are in difficult situations. Only thing is they have to be with the right persons to smile and laugh with them, thanks zandi for the response.

I too find it hard to smile when I am busy or preoccupied with something. Sometimes, it has been brought to my attention that I have to smile more. I still find this hard to do, because it has never been part of me to keep on smiling. How can someone smile when the person is under stress or under anxiety to accomplish things. Further as a teacher, it is difficult to keep smiling when you come across irresponsible, indiscipline and naughty young people who are out to make your day as challenging as possible. Anyway, it is a very good thing if one is able to smile the whole day and brighten everyone's life.

i agree with you mcongy. never a dull moment with your funny friends around. and laughter to me is something that can never be bought so why deprive yourself from something free. it's free and practice it everyday. even when you're alone just think of something funny and surely it'll put a smile on your face. there are lot of ways to make you smile.

I do not smile to my neighbors, that is the true thing. They are not friendly eversince and they only know is to spread rumors to every people living in our place. I only smile to people I know. I smile to person who give me kindness, like when they open the door for me , give their seats to me that deserves a smile. When a person smile at me like great me, like those found inside the mall I do smile at them in return. I only smile to people i know and here in Mylot(because of my avatar).

Well, I do smile most of the time. It is really great that we feel happy and we enjoy life. After all, as you have said smile cost nothing. I have also read that smile can take away some health problems as well as makes us healthy. I conduct trainings involving emergency care, even if its about emergency, I still manage to punch some lines to make people laugh and enjoy the training.

I think smile is the best medicine in the world that can heal a sad feeling. When we are down or sad, only smile can makes us bounce back to be in a happy mood again. Besides that, people who likes to smile can easily makes new friends because smile can become the ice-breaker. So, smile whenever you can to bring the warm relation closer to you. Even when i was very angry with my toddler, for making the floor in a mess, i will ended-up showing him with a smile and taught him how to clean-up the mess. And it really works, that my toddler start to be very helpful in cleaning up, whenever there is a mess done by him after eating.

Hello dear, I can always smile,it is the only free thing that i can afford to give to everyone,so why should i refrain myself for smiling. There's a lot of reason to smile... Smile is one way to stretch some face wrinkles (ahaha) It will make us more beautiful,and...ugly people doesn't have any right to make face or being snobbish (grrrr...hehehe)

Its absolutely true that smile costs nothing but for me it depends a lot on mood. If I am in mental pressure, the smile goes away. May be it should be there at those times too but it is difficult indeed.
