i'm using brownies mix but my brownies come out more like cake, with a fluffy center, than chewy and moist like brownies should be, how do i correct this problem? should i lessen the water or egg?

hi bart78 Follow the directions to the tee on a mix also do not overbake the brownies as that will make them much less moist, use a tooth pick test insert the tooth pick unto the center of the pan if it comes out fairly clean the brownies are done, even a few crumbs left on the pick it should still leave the brownies moist. as for adding oil if you added very much extra oil to the mix it would come out soggy and heavy, I think you should really follow the directions very closely as that usually makes moist brownies. too long baking dries them out.

Add a tablespoon of sunflower oil to keep them moist.
