Sometimes, don't you want to curse people back on your comment?

I just wonder, sometimes you received comments from other members to your posted discussions; after you read it, does it make you angry enough to have such impulsive to curse them out in typing words? I did sometimes, and people are just not nice for whatever reasons. But I can't curse them in plain words like that in mylot. I might got punished. So, I have to keep it myself, and trying ignore those rude comments.

Never. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If they give negative comment just ignore them and dont let your day be ruin. Just be cool and take it as constructive criticism.

clorissa haven't you read about making rude comments in the guidelines mylot admins asks us to report t hese rude comments as they cannot be everywhere at once. if someone was really nasty you just hit the exclamation mark and report it you do not have to just grin and bear it. we are supposed to be nice to each other here in mylot.,if its bad enough to make you feel like cursing its bad enough to report.we are surely supposed to be able to be civil to each other. that kind of thing spoils our fun in mylot. really do report it okay.

Hello colin my dear, I did notice that you were rather vulgar in some of your responses today my dear, it really is uncalled for you know. Some of us just try to give you a little advice as you seem so young and vulnerable with such heavy problems to bear. You really should be more accepting of well meaning advice Colin.

The best thing we can do about that is to ignore them or put some happy mylot code as part of peace offering, lol, actually that's true, we have to set aside the rude comments and bring the topic to a clear views, you don't have to curse them because curse is like you're facing a mirror, it is automatically return to sender.. so beware, have a nice day...

hi clorissa^^;; i don't start a discussion very often and so far i haven't had any response that were rude, but i can see many on other discussions. some uses really direct words and thought that their own opinion only matters. but anyway, instead of cursing them, why not press the negative button since that kind of rude manners should not be tolerated. ofcourse we could disagree in someone's opinion but we should say it in a polite way

Well, the other people have rights. So, better to ignore the comments rather than trying to tell others that this is wrong...this rude...this is harsh...etc. Apart from this small thing myLot is a great website and I have never seen anything like this. Go MyLot.......!!!!!!

Sure, sometimes, if they deserve it. Rude people need to be taken down a notch occasionally. It is only fair. You can report the rude post, and it may be deleted if enough other people find it offensive as well.

I ignore rude comments and just make myself forget them anyway they really never know you in real life as a person and maybe they have personal problem too. The only one which really quite upsetting other lotters are those silent members who rate other negatively it is like back stabbing as you never know who treat you badly as they may be even in your friend list and yet they rate negatively like traitor playing nice but have eventually evil thinking...

i agree what you have done,i think that cursing someone is not culture way, although cursing someone can make you feel comfortable for a while, but it could not be useful for them.if they would understand and be ashameful for their speech, they could not speak like that, maybe you keep cool and ignore those rude comments,it seems more gentle for you.

Hi clorissa. Just ignore them, as others have already said, each one is entitled to his own opinion. Let mylot admin do it. Anyway there are TO's and guidelines here on mylot and I think they can't escape, he, he. Anyway, it's their loss not yours, their ratings/reputations might drop. Just have fun mylotting. Good day to you.

I am sad to say this happens a lot to me, and I can't often stop myself. I have a very bad case of Internet Rage! It's bad. I really shouldn't come anywhere near this site until I have had my morning caffeine or haven't been drinking, because I usually end up saying things I don't mean.
