What are your favorite Christmas treats. Is this something that you make yourself or is it something that you someone else in your family makes. For me I have one that my mother fixes and I also have a new favorite that I've just learned how to make this year. My favorite that my mother fixes is her sugar cookies. The one that I've started making this year is my peanut butter candies. I'll share the recipe for the candy as well. 1 Cup granulated Sugar 1 Cup corn syrup 1 12 oz jar of peanut butter 6 cups corn flakes Microwave or heat sugar and corn syrup on the stove until bubbly. Remove from heat and mix in peanut butter. Mix in corn flakes. Using a tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper and allow to harden. Enjoy.

I like sugar cookies. I never used to like shortbread, but I'm starting to.

oh, yes, homemade ones are best (especially the ones my husband's mother makes). It's like the difference between restaurant cooking and my mom's cooking. Hers is definitely better.

Sugar cookies are one of my favorites (especially the ones that my mother makes). However, I cannot go to the store and buy sugar cookies because I just don't like those. I have to have ones that are made at home and with love.

The treats I always liked were this Rocky Road Candy that my Aunt makes (found an even better recpie online than hers but it's called Easy Rocky Road Fudge same thing I just add more marshmallows) Otherwise I like peppermint bark alot wich is just white chocolate melted with crushed candy canes in it set on wax paper to harden.

I like peppermint bark as well. In fact, that is another candy that I have made before. As far as the Rocky Road Candy, I don't think I've ever had a version of that, but it certainly sounds delicious. I may have to look for the recipe online and give it a try.

My husband loves all your recipes that use peanut butter. I made the peanut butter candies and was planning on making these for a party we attended, but before I had a chance to pack them up, they were all gone. My husband devoured them. Do you hve any other peanut butter recipes? If you do please share.

I wish that I had some more peanut butter recipes that I could share right off the top of my head. I haven't memorized it and I don't have my recipes handy right now, but I do have a good recipe for microwave peanut butter fudge. It is so very good and I will definitely share it when I come across it in the next day or so.
