jemaries I am starting to think no prayers of mine will ever be answered although I have certainly send enough of them. I am told over and over he will answer in his own good time how do I feel?' Bitter thats how I feel. To be jerked out of a happy time in an apartment and landed here where I do not want to be, what else' would I feel? I am a good person so why me? I do not belong here but came here as I had no alternative and was told only for a short while? a year is a short while? my son out of work for a whole year a short while? oh come on I believe in God but I need a few signs now and then.

There are prayers that are answered and we are not fully aware, because God has better plans for us. He gave what we needed not what we wanted. There are prayers that I prayed that are answered, there are not. Sometimes when I pray, I pray to God to release the pain on my heart, to make me a new me when I wake up the other day. I feel it first thing in the morning. When last night you find me crying over the pain, the morning I wake up the pain is already gone and I can smile again. Sometimes I pray to God to help me how to earn more money and after a day I will find another opportunity to earn. Sometimes it happens differently, sometimes it do not happen. Because when you ask the help of God he will help you definitely but sometimes we do not see it, because the help comes in different form. The help comes in God's way, because he have more better plan for us.

God isn't a 'produce things on demand' machine ... or Santa Claus. Asking for something in a prayer can be a bit like a kid asking his parents for something for Christmas. They may be able to afford it or they may not or they may think that what you ask for is unsuitable. Really, though, this is the WRONG way to think of prayer. Prayer is a way of communicating with God. We are told that God knows our every need before we ask for it ... and will supply it. It isn't a case of 'if you don't ask for it, you won't get it'! One way of explaining how prayer works is that it opens up a connection between us and God, something like connecting an electric lamp to the wall socket. Once the current can flow between us and God, then things begin to happen the way God wants them to and we begin to understand - and want - what is best for us. If you pray for money or something like that, you need to understand honestly in God's terms why you are asking for it. Usually there is a selfish reason at heart and to have that 'wish' granted would not bring you any closer to God. If you have a problem with a friend, though, and you ask for help in dealing with it, God will most certainly help, though it may not be in a way you were expecting. Usually, after laying a problem before God in prayer, you will find that you will begin to understand how to solve it, especially if you practice listening in your prayers rather than rattling on with all the things you want!

For this year, I definitely believe that even if I did not ask for it He immediately answers. I have been in situations that I am stuck with nothing but he provided and I thank God for it. Not just for this year but for every year that I face problems or situations, He shows himself and remains faithful to His promise. Indeed he answers prayers, all He asks is for us to have faith and believe that He will never leave us.

Yes I did encountered in my life where my prayers was not answered by GOD. I felt bad about it but in the latter part I realized that it was not really meant for me. That is why it was not granted at all. I did realize that not all your prayers be answered the way you wanted God to grant. But, the way in his likeness. His time and ways not our ways. Now, I am mature enough with all the things I see and wanted in life. I do not loose hope in my prayers. I still ask God guidance and patience for understanding me and his forgiveness for my weakness.
