Loks like most of the people in this world have at least one bite of a hamburger and this one bite will sometimes change many people's taste or even mind set of food as well.I don't know the history of hamburger and may be the hamburger university of Macdonald hamburger can have a better answer of this question.I think hamburger is a great food although evetrybody knows that it is unhealthy if eating too much.Well, maybe you have some great and unforgetable experience with a hamburger that you want to share with us .Now,it is your turn!

This is so funny because I JUST...5 minutes ago, took some hamburgers out from under the broiler. About once a month or so, I make quarter pounders with cheese and they taste identical to the ones from McDonald's. I didn't make them tonight because they are just so much work and take a lot of time to do them right. I think people get so used to eating hamburgers in fast food places that they don't realize how good they can be in really good restaurants. I know it's weird though, to go to a nice eating place and order a hamburger, most people would rather order something fancy that they don't get to eat all the time. I had a ground sirloin burger in a nice restaurant once, it came on a big fat homemade bun with a selection of delicious sauces to put on it and it was the best I've ever had! Even though I love gourmet food, It's always hard for me to resist ordering a burger in nice restaurants just to see how they taste!

In my opinion ,I always think hamburger is not a food properly , but a kind of snack which you can have when not a dinner time .

they're just so good. One of those things that makes everyone's mouth water. If i had to pick a food to live on every meal for the rest of my life, I definitely think that I would be quite happy with a hamburger.

Hmm. The first time I ate a burger from "American Legacy," a local burger joint here in the Philippines, I was impressed: the burger was fat, had a veggie filling (something similar to coleslaw), and it was just delicious. A dear friend introduced me to this resto, so it was doubly memorable. Then the next most memorable experience with a burger was when I first ate a Big Mac. I loved it so much that I wanted to try it again. Later, however, the Big Macs I tasted no longer tasted as great as the first time I tried; so... I'm not craving for Big Macs that much anymore. :D I love KFC's Zinger (I dunno if it's also available in the States), as well as its other, less spectacular though no less delicious burgers, and anything that has lettuce and tomato in it. I also love Jollibee's burgers! Jollibee is Philippines' version of McDonalds'... Their burgers are great, in my opinion, because they have a distinct yummy taste and its patty has this yummy-chewy texture that McDonald's hasn't gotten perfect. In fact, I love Jollibee's simpler burgers better than McDonald's regular ones. Jollibee's Champ can't beat Big Mac, though, so boo-hoo for that. :D Thanks for putting up this interesting discussion, wildlittlefan! Blessed New Year to you!

Oh yes,I've been to Manila once and I found the numbers of money was a big surprise to me.I can still remember I walk in to macdonald and wanted to see what the price of Macdonald will be in Philippine.Wow,it said,7 hundred something for a hamburger set lunch or so.Although The exchange rate in Philippine maybe different and the numbers didn't really mean a thing when compare to other curracy but it really sound very expensive when I first seen it .Because in my city,it worth only 25 dollars even now.Well,it is different ,isn't it?Anyway.enjoy your jolibee then,I have it once,I thought it's pretty good. But I think I like Burger King Whopper if we are just talikng about general fast food place.HAPPY NEW YEAR,ANYWAY^_^.

I sure do and I hope I make you laugh. I just did a response on this a few days ago on another discussion, ha. Years ago I was dating this guy and we stopped for a hamburger at this really good restaurant. When we got served I picked up this HUGE big fat juicy hamburger and was ready to take a bite, and I said "Wow! Look at how juicy this hamburger is!" and with that gave it a little squeeze. The juice from the hamburger shot out in a straight line right across the table like lightening onto my dates silver gray shirt, HAHAHA!!!!! I was pretty embarrassed by that back then but now I laugh my head off because he's my ex husband so who cares, I wish I could do it again to him, LOL!!!!

If I were you ,I would tell him in advance rather than spending 35 minutes to try something you don't like to eat. That 35 minutes you will probably have french flies in stead.Well,I think you probably enjoy the food from your country for a long time and you may not like the western food.Frankly speaking,i Ndon't like Macdonald hamburger too,If I want a hamburger,I will try those whopper from burger king.Although it is a little it more expensive but at least it taste much better.Have a good day.

Wow,this was a horrible experience more than a fun experience.I don't think people can tolerate that in nowaday.Well,it's over anyway and I hope that theplace you had this experience won't operate like that anymore if they still exist. If they don't exist anymore ,I think that would be better for all the hamburger eater.I hope you can enjoy some knids of great hamburger this year and once a while,it won't harm your health that much. But for long one, everybody knows that hamburger is not a healthy food.Well, happy new year,my friend.

i definetly had a forgettable experience-i broke part of my tooth at a fast food joint (i'm not stating which one).it was rather a shock to do that on a hamburger. i'm not eating at that particular restaurant again. not the whole chain, just that one.

Hi wildlittlefan, I had an unforgettable experience leaning how sick cows get past the health checks and mixed in with the healthy ones at the abbatoir, and how every unimaginable bit of the cows, except the bones, end up inside these fast food gems. It made me so glad that I'd never eaten one in the first place, and I'm sure in the next few generations the instances of mad cow disease will be rampant.

haha, I think it kinda funny that you can have an unforgettable experience with a hamburger of all things!! I guess is possible though but for me I dont have any unforgettable or special moments with hamburgers. I do love a Whopper Jr from BK every now and then though... its my fav. hamburger.
