Oatmeal is good for you.. right?!

I arrived at work today (to work my 9-5 shift!) and I totally forgot to bring with me any kind of food (and per my resolutions, I won't be getting any kind of delivery..) except what food I already have here, which is.. oatmeal. I just have a lot of instant oatmeal here, and that's it. So it looks like I'll be eating oatmeal today, for breakfast, lunch, & dinner (hey, it could be worse, I guess!). Have you ever been stuck in such a predicament?

Yah, Oatmeal is good for the heart and for diet conscious individuals too. However to take it as a supplement for every meal is not wise I think.It is good but does not contain all kinds of nutrients we needed to stay healthy.

No, I have never been in that situation like you having same food in three different meal time. I have hyper acidity and oatmeal is not desired food for me. I guess in your situation, you will be loving that food for long term. As they claim that it helps reduce cholesterol level.

hi maezee oh yes oatmeal is good for you. Once when I was still working in the library I forgot my lunch and as I was only working part time, I did not want to cut into my work hours by going all the way up the hill and back. so as we had a dozen bagels and still had some left over I had a large everything but the kitchen sink bagel that nobody else wanted and some left over cheese that nobody wanted. the bagel had seeds and nuts and raisins in it and some dried cranberry bits. it was really delicious but so healthy the anti health nuts would not touch' it. the cream cheese really made a lunch for me with the bagel and the coffee we always had available.

Oatmeal is real good for you. You really want to watch it in the morning though, because remember it has lots of fiber!!

I dont like oatmeal... it is just too gross for me though... dont get me wrong, I just feel they way it looks. Dont have you a lunch break? if so then go out and get some real food. if you eat oatmeal for breakfast then it is alright but for all the meals of the day then... I will be sick.

Yeah. It's good for the heart. Lessen your fats as well as cholesterol. It is pretty good for the body!!! So guy's let's take oatmeal now!
