I haven't been in one, but I wanted to go to a bar named 'Punch Line', and its only because of one stand up commedienne. His or her name is "Vice Ganda", in Filipino, 'ganda' means beauty. He also has some television shows, and he is really funny, as in totally hilarious. When he guests on some shows, especially talks shows, he really has no dull moment, the audience and people who watch him, including the hosts, laughs a lot.

"May nag-text!" LOL. I haven't been in one, too. I don't want to, though, I really like him. You are right, he's really funny. I like his humor.

Why not? you should try it. It's a great experience but you have to be ready anytime because they might catch your attention and make fun with you for the entire show. And oh, you have to make sure your wallet is loaded with bucks because sometimes they are really good in asking money. hahahhahah they really demand. I salute the comedians because they are really, really smart!

Ei. Zirko at San Juan? near Greenhills shopping center right? How much is the entrance fee? Yeah, vice ganda was not yet discovered or still in the making. Actually, comedians in a stand up bars before are ordinary people,I mean actors and actresses haven't invade the comedy bars before. They didn't foresee that it would be a great hit either in masses or to the elite.

I think vice ganda started to enter the lime light when he guested at wowowee, just like 'Pooh'. The people got to know them because of the dreaded 'willie revillame'. haha

i've been in laff line once, vice wasn't there though... i did laugh a lot but it wasn't as i've expected. more of the jokes they had were dirty jokes and there were lots of small kids in the audience... most of the time, they would just sing.. maybe it's better in punch line...

Yes, yes, yes a very long time ago but not in punch line! I guess punch line was net yet in the business at that time. I tried it at "library" in Malate and they are really good and crazy.lol The comedians are really good in insulting but in a funny way. Our table was located at the second floor but still we catches their attention and started to comment on us. They didn't stop until we load them with drinks and afterward they become nice to us.hahahhaha A bar like that are not open to all because you have to be cool in able to ride on and survive for the entire night. Some people get into trouble because of the insults they received. I suggest you better try it. but, you have to dress to impress but not too much and bring guys with you so that they won't get too harsh on you.lol Happy laughing.

I have never been to a comedy bar either, but I would like to go to one once. I always watch on tv those shows recorded in comedy bars, and I enjoy a lot those comedians' jokes, so I would like to be able to experiment it once in real life too

Yes, I have been to at least 1, About 15 years ago, so it's been along time, but its usually a fun experience. Alot has to do with who is performing, and whether you like that style of comedy or not. When I went we saw Michael Winslow. For those of you who dont who he is, he is the guy who does the sound effects and impersonations in the police academy movies. Anyway when I went, I knew who I was going to see beforehand. I think that's the key to really enjoying yourself at a comedy club.

I didn't know comedy bars existed way back 25 years ago hehehe. I hope I can experience going in one soon, just for a one time experience if it really costs a lot hehe.

I have never been to a comedy bar just yet, but it sounds like a lot of fun. There are special evenings here in Holland that you can visit, but I am not sure where and when they are taking place. It would be a lot of fun to attend sometimes as I have seen them on television and they were very funny. Also, you get to see a lot of less known or new talents which can be a lot of fun aswell.
