Have you felt you are ageing too quickly?

Most of the people love to look young always. But ageing is a natural phenomenon and no power can control or stop it from occuring. I have heard many people keeping on saying that they have grown old by 40yrs and cannot digest the fact that they have started getting grey hairs (although most of them use the hair dye now a days). Have you also wondered how you got old suddenly and said to yourself - Goodness I cannot believe I have turned 40 or 45 or so on??? Pl discuss your feeling when each year passes and how you feel about it.

Nobody wants to get old but it's enivitable. I think if you stay fairly youthful in your thoughts and outlook on life it helps to negate any external aging that occurs.

I have noticed it is just sneaking up on me. After age 40 it seemed to just happen fast. One day you feeling fine and then it hits you , yes a few grey hairs and the feeling of needing a nap every once in awhile. I dont think theres anything you can do to stop it. One thing i think you can do to slow the aging is to eat right and exersice so this is what im doing for new year to help feel better.

I have never wanted to be young again. Life in the teens and twenties is most difficult to endure! At age 76, I am staying gainfully employed, and I'm beginning to brag about my "old age!" I have been a health conscious Yogi for 30 years, and having never been enamored with Doctors, or the medical establishment,I have not had a medical checkup for over 30 years. I feel the public should be educated ( from elemantary school through college) in staying healthy, so as not to be completely dependant on the medical establishment for their health and life style. As each year passes I am having more fun. Life just keeps on getting better and better!

Numbers don't bother me. 30 didn't bug me. 40 didn't bug me. 50 didn't bug me. The mirror, now that bugs me. Who is that middle aged woman looking back at me and what did she do with my body? I don't feel any older inside my head, really I don't. But I don't sit around all day worrying about it either. Too much living to do and not enough time left. lol

Well, I am not yet 40, so I can't tell how I'll feel when I reach that. As for now, I'm 31, I don't feel I'm aging too quickly. Actually I already have some white hair last few years, though some people advised me to go and dye my hair, I just don't think it's necessary to do that. I don't really mind being old, or I don't think look is really important, as long as we have pleasant and neat looking. I always admire those peaceful looking old people, they look so peaceful and wise. I always think the best ways to anti aging are be happy always and do more exercises. Keep ourselves mentally and physically healthy is more important, and that makes us feel young too! Though I am 31 years old this year, I still feel I'm young.

hi yogambal, while the age is going on the body changes accordingly, the face turned to wrinkle, loosing the strength in the body, knee pains, pains, bald head etc etc will take place in the body after 40 years,if we fear for this, this is the phenomena of ageing ,but we does not feel besides that BP and Diabetics also may affect,we have to bare every thing, that is according to the fate we may get or may not get, have a nice day

To each his own -age gracefully but don't age just because it has to happen. I hate women who cut their hair short just cos they grew up...

Well, I for one accepted that stage will come in my life no matter what it takes or do some preventions. I see it in a positive view that It adds maturity for me and widen my experiences in life. I also came to the point that when I reach that age, to be a stable person, a good family of my own and career too. As of now, they say that I am too young for my age which opposes. I said it is a matter of optimistic view in life and able to handle stress properly.

At times I feel like this. However, I think there is a very good reason. I think this is a byproduct of time feeling like it moves too quickly. I get caught up in life and thus time passes at a much quicker rate. It just seems like yesterday, I was graduating from high school. Now I am into my master's degree at college and it just floors me. Thus if feels like I am aging too quickly to an extent because of getting caught off in life.

Yes. Actually, I have lost some hairs in the scalp, and now becoming bald. I'm only 30. They said it's a condition known as Alopecia. But for me, I know it is the result of having too much stress in my life in the past. I used to be bothered by my failing business before, plus failing relationships with women. But I managed to recover, and now, I am trying my best to look younger and better. I am more relaxed now, as compared before. Stress is also reduced. Thanks God, and thanks to positive learning I got from personal development books and sites. Thanks also to network marketing, I learned how to have positive outlook in life.
