Hi joseph :) I was raised in a Christian environment. I went to a church-school so i practically grew up in a church. everything was going well but i never really accepted Christ until i got in high school where i really understood what it meant. My walk with Christ up to this day has been very challenging but I'm glad to say that He never let go of me :) He has been faithful up to this very moment. I am not perfect. I have done grave things that I am not proud of.but despite all that, He has been very patient with me and He has given me mercy and grace to be able to stand up again. I don't believe in religion, (not that i'm against it) but i believe that what God is looking for is a relationship with us. He doesn't want us to be perfect before we go to Him (if this is so, what's the point of His grace and Him dying on the cross, right?) doctrines are good because they provide us with guidelines but it shouldn't be all about these. He loves us ever so dearly that He just wants to have an intimate relationship with us where He can shower us with His love. Now what have we got to lose? instead, we got so much more to gain. Being a Christian is not easy but its rewards are great. things in this world can be very tempting and satisfying at the moment but what happens when all this disappears? we are not talking about temporary gain but our life in eternity. I would just like to say that this is not just from what i heard but from what i personally learned through my experiences. God has made Himself real to my life. There may be people who disagree but I believe with all my soul that He is indeed real. And I pray that people will soon see this, that God will make Himself known and real in the lives of others. God bless!

Hi joseph, I was raised a Christian and for many years followed the teaching of the church. Later, when I was getting unhappy about things in the church, I was told to turn to Jesus and surrender my life to him. I was told that he had all the answers. After a few years I saw that none of this was true but that people were simply brainwashed into believing what another had told them. I have now found God real freedom and true peace of mind by going within. God is not outside of us, he is within us. Blessings.

I was born and raised a Christian. I sang in the church choir, and taught Sunday School. But one day when I was 23, as I researched my Sunday School lesson, it suddenly came to me that I didn't believe a single word I was about to teach. I put my books down, and never went back to Church again.Shortly thereafter the Pastor came to visit, and before he left he called me "a Heretic." The long and short of it is - Perhaps I am a Heretic, but I am also a Happy Healthy well satisfied Non-Christian!

My walk with Christ was rather bland and ho-hum until I did what I knew I had to do, and that was to convert to Catholicism. You have no idea how much better my relationship with Jesus is now--it's awesome! I have no regrets about turning to the Catholic Church. God has given me more than what I would have had had I stayed Protestant.
