But I'll go tell my kids they have to be funnier tomorrow.... Well first of all, we're sitting at the table and having breakfast. I had finished and was taking some supplements with my tea. One pill dropped and rolled halfway across the kitchen and up against a chair leg and hid there. By the time I found it, the 3 second rule had expired, the 5 second rule had expired and Dearra pointed out that it was a calcium and cat hair supplement. Then when I was getting dressed I heard a lot of banging and yelling. I came out and there was Cary brushing his teeth in the hall banging on the bathroom door for Naomi to let him in. Dearra had been yelling at him to stop it (her bedroom is right across from the bathroom). So I came out and asked who wanted the first butt kicking. Cary walked right over to Dearra's door and said, "start there", and PUSHED me in that direction. But there were no butt kickings or killings this morning. They all simmered down. btw I told Dearra that one of my buddies here recommended that I turn the opera music UP when I drop her off at schoold. For some reason, she didn't appreciate the suggestion. And how did your morning go?

Funny story. Reminds me of the comedy Bill Cosby Himself. And the beatings will now begin. LOL. At least you get some movement out of your kids. I have a 17 yr old that thinks mornings are horrible. His alarm went off at 7 am. At 7:15 I yelled towards his door and asked if he was up. His response was yes. At 7:30 as I am walking out the door for work, I again yell towards his door and asked if he was out of the bed. His response this time was a more honest no. He had to catch the bus at 7:45. So in 15 minutes he had to get up, get dressed, fix his lunch, brush his teeth and make it to the bus stop. I am guessing he made it or that his older brother took him to school because I have not received a call saying he missed school.

ah yes, the beatings will now commence. Bill Cosby's stories about raising children are still some of the funniest that I have ever heard!

ah,but it's ten seconds if the item is coated (like a pill) my morning.. pretty uneventual until i heard a "thud" when i was on the second floor. it's like oh god, what's she done now? i get downstairs and mom had broken an ashtray.she of course said nothing until i asked where the shards came from.she'd picked up the large pieces, but left the wonderful lil' foot surprises for me.

i think i'm going to have to get her a metal one or something. we'd given her plastic drinking glasses for the same reason, she drops them. she has a bit of a hand tremor problem.

Hi, dawnald. My morning was very busy, dawnald. I cleaned my apartment at nine this morning. And I did not get finished until after 12 noon. I had to mop 8 floors. And I had to clean two bathrooms. I scrubbed these floors too. I was very busy this morning cleaning my house for the weekend. I am glad that I did it, that way, I won't have to worry about cleaning it tomorrow. I can see that your morning was busy as well. Ain't we both had quite a day? Take care.

My morning went well. But I got one about my niece and nephew. They are always doing fun and crazy things. My sister and her husband just bought a house so packing has started. Now my niece is 5 and nephew is 2. My sister is starting to pack up their rooms. Reagan is very helpful even trying to take the sheets and covers off her bed to put in the box.... Mind you they are not moving until the 29th.... Head start packing..... Luke says.... "No mommy Them are my toys, Don't get rid of them"... He is so cute.... You just have to love both of them.....

Poor guy, hopefully he can keep a few toys until the last minute, or even carry them himself...

She is trying but he will be so excited to have his own room and then most of the toys will go in the basement.... so they can run and play and ride their toys in winter...

Well I am about four days too late so I have no idea how my morning went! ”Calcium and cat hair supplement!” Love Dearra’s sense of humour! Have you considered writing about about your time with your kids? I would be the first one to buy a copy! There is potential there for great material! Turning up the opera music...That is cruel!

Well, I had a quieter morning than you did! But that is because my kids are all grown lol. So, can we be expecting you to cough up a hair ball? Or did you not take the pill that dropped and rolled? Karen

Hi Dawn, You have a great morning with all your little actor and actresses around. it seemed like you have a teledrama with some twists of comedy and action everyday...LOL. You're having the great time of your life with your kids Dawn. How i wish i have all the time with my kids too...to be a full-time mom with them. anyways, we have a normal morning today. since it's saturday here we woke up late and had our breakfast together late. now, we are all in the computer and watching tv. the house is in peace. we are all busy. wait for the clock to reach 12 and everyone will be looking for something to eat and that will start our day. we will treat our kids out for a week of accomplishments. Have a great weekend Dawn and kids!

HA! There needs to be a dawnald family reality show - hee hee! My morning went well with my almost 5 year old and newborn . . . meaning things went rather smoothly (thank goodness). We made it to classes in time, my baby slept the whole time, and my daughter actually listened VERY well (wohhhh). The only thing that was remotely "funny" was a moment in arts and crafts class. The teacher had all the kids make little pots out of clay. All of us moms were wowed by how well the children used their motor skills to do exactly what they were told - the pots came out pretty awesome. And just as we were talking about it, all the kids squished their pots and had a big wad of clay in their hands. Oh well!!

He definitely had his opinion on who deserved the whupping. btw I freaked my husband out when I told him this story. He thought Cary had really pushed me. No, it was a very gentle push to make sure I knew which way to go!

The three (or however many) second rule is when you drop something edible on the floor. If you pick it up within that number of seconds, it is supposedly still safe to eat because it wasn't down there long enough to pick up any germs or whatever. A joke thing...

Well I didn't have to do or even threaten any butt kicking. But when I came back from Yoga I did have to wait for the chickens to cross the road. WHY DO THEY TO THAT! Oh yes I remember, to get to the other side.
