Mylot math, do you every take 10 dollars and divide it by the number of days in

a month to see how much money you need to average per day in order to make $10 by the end? Basically, with 31, 30, and 28 days in the months in a year and leap year is 29, you only need to do 3 or 4 math problems to find out the average amount you need per day. So have you done the math? Are you "on target" for this month? Do you find it's easier to get to payout on a 31 day month than 30? Do you find February to be a challenge? Have you completed different math by taking the date you're on in the earnings part and dividing it into the amount you have? Then multiplying that to see what you will probably have by the end of the month? So do you figure anything out? Do you not worry about it at all? Do you check to see if you're behind or ahead and change your amount of posts to help you get more money? Or do you not do any math for your Mylot account at all? If you do other math, what is it?

I think the articles would make more money anyway so try to do something on that everyday too. I even get to the bathroom and do afew other things as well. Hehehe

Ya, I'm in a better mood today. My grandson was being a 'butthead' yesterday and driving us all up. Today is alittle better.

I don't have goals here but I do like to reach payout every month. I try and make it by the 20th. I know that if I make lots of interesting comments on my own started discussions (which are few and far betweeen so I go back to the older ones most months too) then I will make it. If I don't then it doesn't matter and I will make double the next month with a bit more time and effort. It was easier for me until last month as I was working less at my offline job. Now I am working full-time and so obviously I have less time here but I'm going to reach it just the same this month too so that will be every month for the last year and that's fine!

I may set a goal of every month in 2010. I have been on leave from my offline job, and I am opting for the freedom of giving it back to the people it came from.

MyLot and the other sites that I dabble with are my hobby. I prefer to use my time having fun online and earning something rather than watching, for example, the soaps

I try to average 34 cents a day, whatever the length of the month is. It works out just fine that way. Yes, I have done the math for when I am behind or ahead. I do not do it when I have carry over. I was so busy in December I did not quite make it, even with a substantial carry over. I may have to step up the pace a little though.

When I have more work from an hourly paying job, I'm on here less. When I have less work from a regular job, I'm on here more. I found doing the math for the average helps. But if I have 3 jobs and lots of hours of work, I get here when I can. Now I'm down one part-time job and not working every day (mostly half days-3 or 4 a week), so I can be here a lot more. Strange how the only constant in my life is change when it comes to work. Good thing my husband is pretty cool.

i never really did the math on it. but i would assume about 30 cent a day would bring you to pay out each month. but i think it's really important to have referals so this way you don't have to work so hard. i am so happy to have a great downline and i get to come here and have fun and not worry so about making payout because they do it for me.

34 to 36 cents a day depending on the month. My referals, I'm lucky if I get one sent once in a great while from the one who was willing to try, but only half-heartedly. So you're really lucky that you have some good referals. Thanks and take care.

well I was under the impression by mylot that calculating our earnings varies so it's been a bit discouraging for me, so I do this only when I can.

Well, what you get paid does very, but the average amount per day to get $10 is 34cents for 31 days, 35 for 30 days and 36 or 37 February. So let's say you do 20 responses today and receive 30 cents when you see it tomorrow. So tomorrow, you know you need to make about 38 cents because you're down 4 cents. So you might try for 24 responses. Let's say the next day it turns out to be 40 cents, now you're a couple cents above it. It will vary, but you can get an idea of how you're doing. That's not for everyone, but some people get discouraged if they don't get payout in a month. So it's just a little something to help them out.

Yes, those of us in the thousands are usually here for reasons other than $. But some people start here and don't do the math, but get upset when they don't make payout the first month or the second for that matter. Glad you enjoy it here. 8 thousand, you must be having fun. Yes, if you look every day and see how close you are to the average per day, then you know if you need to work here a little more if you want payout each month. If you make 34 cents per day, more or less on a 31 day month, you'll have it. A little more for 30 day month and even more in February. So give it a try and you won't be trying to hurry up and make up the difference at the end of the month. Thanks for posting and take care.

That's always been hard for me just to get the 10 by the last month, I can't imagine being able to get it by the middle of the month. That must be wonderful. I could probably make 20 dollars if I could do that. But if I'm on, too much, my hands half kill me. Well, my wrists and I run the risk of having a cyst form. Thanks and take care.

I don't think I'm able to reach payout this month, because I've been less active. Only these past few days, I started to log in but not for too long though. Normally, I see a healthy .30 as well, and it can differ depending on my participation. So I think you might be right. If we can divide against 30 days, we can roughly gauge our participation. But I don't really care too; it's awesome though when I can't make it this month, but knowing that I'll be receiving more next month. Happy lotting to you! ..

Hi, Edge! I enjoy the Lot, and my time is limited by over-work. I've also been very ill since Christmas, so it's hard to get in much computer time. It never occurred to me to do the math, but I'll probably be doing just that from here on, then upbraiding myself if I can't get to it enough to meet the goals! Maybe I should just conrinue to get to it when I can for a while...

Some people really count on the $10 a month. Esp. in countries where a person can buy food for a week with it. Or people in any area where they can almost make it, but they're $10 short of the money they need for bills. You're welcome. I also see so many people who don't understand why they didn't get $10 in a month. Take care and thanks for responding.

I try to do the math, but I always seem to come up short. I get so busy at times and forget to log on here or I can not spend as much time on here as I would like. I am a college student and a wife. I get busy with cleaning, cooking and homework that I need to cut back on here. I am hoping to make payout this month. I would like to get 20.00 this month, but I do not see it happening. If I can get minimum I will be happy.

I don't really concern myself with the math issue aside from mere curiosity and hope that I will make enough for a minimum payout. When you are jobless, money becomes, unfortunately, quite precious to you. However, I am not the type of person to post meaningless posts. If I cannot think of anything to comment with that would be an ideal and meaningful post, I will not bother posting. I view mylot as a place of opportune. A place to meet new people and gain friends. A place to challenge and debate. A place to learn and teach. A place to earn. I keep telling myself to be more active as some of the discussions have been really inspiring, but alas laziness.

I posted mostly for people who get upset and concerned because they don't make pay out. I find when I get $10 more one month, it really helps. Milk, bread, an apple, etc. is a help or the last 10 bucks that I need is to pay a bill. 10 bucks goes a long way for groceries if I do it right or it's a big help if that's the only thing that I need left to be able to pay a bill. It helps that I took touch typing in school and now have faster internet service. Without both of those, I'd never make it. I hope you're able to find work. Thanks for your response and take care.

I really never thought about it. I just add do discussions and leave it at that. On occasion I check to see what the balance is but I rarely worry about it. It's all about the fun and learning that I get from this place. It is interesting that you have figured out how to reach payout every month, I really never thought much about it but I imagine you could do it like that. Just curious, if you go over the amount you have for a day or two,do you take a day off?

I was hoping to see the answer posted by you so I would know how much I needed to earn per day in order to make payout at the end of the month. I can easily do the math myself I just didnt feel like doing it so it was nice when I scrolled down through the comments on your discussion and found the answer. I NEVER make payout each month. I dont take nearly enough time on here each day. I spend a few minutes and thats about it. I will do some math though and see what the average I make on here per day is. Well my total is about 15 cents a day. So if I really worked at it more I am sure I could doublt that and make payout each month but I like doing mylot in my spare time when I feel like it I dont want it to feel like a duty.

I know for sure when I first joined myLot I did work out the averages to reach cashout each month and kept an eye on how I was performing on here against the average, doubling the effort if I had fallen below. But these days I never really pay any attention to the averages or to whether I have reached payout in a certain time. When I get the email to say I have been paid it's a nice bonus for me. Saying that I do use those calculations when it comes to my own website, judging how it is performing against the goals I have set for both traffic and earning for the month. Although with a website it's a bit harder to affect things that quickly to put them back on track if you are below your target.

Hello, Writersedge.:-) Interesting post you got here.:-) I did once try to figure out how much I should earn here per day to reach the minimum payout of $10 per month. But, then I didn't really set it as a goal since I don't post for the sake of just posting. plus, I only stay here in MYlot if there's something really interesting that caught my eye. If none, and there's no topic I can think or feel like sharing, then, I opted to reading and writing articles for other websites. I am here in Mylot not for money but to relax, both emotionally, mentally as well as physically. Sometimes, I don't even post or respond to any topic at all. I just enjoy myself reading the comments Mylotters are sharing in a particular discussion. Thus, earning me nothing.LOL Have a great weekend.:-)

Welcome to Mylot. 31 into $10 is around 34 cents a day. So if a person averages about that much every day, then the person will reach payout. If you miss a day, then you make more. I'm trying to help people do the math to get the $10. Have a nice day and I hope you enjoy Mylot.

10 x10 is a hundred, so it would take most of us 10 months or maybe 9 or 8 to get a hundred. It depends on how much each person does per month. Take care and happy mylotting.
