I just saw a headline about woman who was 100 who earned her Bachelors degree! It's never too late to go for your dreams! I was lucky I got to live out my dreams before I left highschool I had to look for more dreams and I have but if you aren't as lucky as I.Just remember whatever your dream is , It is never too late! what dream would you want to have come true?

I am actually seriously contemplating joining a tae kwon do club. My oldest is already a blue belt, and I wanted my 3 year old to start soon. The small one keeps telling me that he'd only join if daddy also joins. Twenty odd some years ago, I was a yellow belt. I'm thinking if I re-started now, I could reach black belt in 3 or 4 years. That's why I will start running again, starting today. Just to build up my energy. Hopefully, the 6 year old color belts won't beat up the adult-white belter!

Haha! That's a deal! But give me a few weeks to run and jog first. I think I've gotten all the moves down, but I'm afraid that this belly of mine will get in the way of all the tumblings that they do. Hockey lessons you say? Now, there's something I could really get into. Surprising I never thought of that before. Do they have an age limit to get drafted in the NHL?

Boy that's a loaded question! There is not enough space to write for all I dream for. I saw that article too. I'm proud of her.

Whoa thats a great achievement at the age of hundred. This story indeed tells us that it's never too late to achieve your dreams. But I wonder what does that women do with this degree, I mean its of no use for her. But we hardly follow our dreams and there are only handful of people who do this daring thing.

Wow it just goes to show that you are as old as you feel and those of us who feel as if they are old at fifty have absoulutely no excuse. The woldest woman I know of who got a degree was eighty and this woman beats here by a good fifteen years.I hope this serves as motivation for all down trodden and underpriveleged people that they can achieve anything they put their mind to .

Wow that is an inspirational story. It just proves that anything can be done, if they set their minds to it. It makes all of those people in their forties who say its too late look rather pathetic. I have nothing off hand of what I want to achieve yet, most of everything has been achieved right now.

In most cases people have to lose something in order to get something. Dreams could even require more. My dream is to own several pro teams around the world. Maybe you think thats silly but i really want to. Best wishes on achieving your dreams!

Absolutely not bachelor degree at 100 years old! My dream is to make a good income in online world, have a reliable investment, and have a small business in the real world (working to someone else is fine too as long as I'm interested). Most importantly, live in peace.

For bachelor degree, maybe there's too late. But for high school, there's of course 'too late'. I mean, there are some things out there which has time limit for a person. I know that for the sake of motivation, we tend to say that it's never too late to do anything. I want to be a successful businessman someday. And for this, I believe there's never too late.

Where education is concerned , it is never too late . My mom got her high school diploma when she was in her 50's! As for college, It Trully is never too late as this 100 year old woman has shown.

living your dreams is different from realizing your dreams. because dreams are of the mind and achievements that satisfy you are about your two feet on the ground and enjoying what you have accomplished. so, you can always dream dreams and some dreams remain as that...

But sometimes you get to live out a dream and you find it is better than what you imagined.

in a way, that proposition is correct... dreams are the sources of inspiration that drives us to focus on our goals... and in the law of attraction, whatever occupies your thought comes to you... that's also what the secret is all about... check it out, i am coming with a passing review of wattles' book... always visit my site at http://pinoygnews.multiply.com/ ... thanks...

You are correct! It is never too late to pursue your dreams. You are going to get older anyway so why not do what you've been putting off. Don't delay go after what you want and you may surprise yourself.

I'd really love to be able to afford to do some serious travelling. I would love to go to Croatia. I have a lot of Croatian friends who tell me that the country is absolutely beautiful. Hubby and I would really love to go there and see it for ourselves. We already love the culture and the music. :)

Bravo for this woman. It is just like our saying: Keep learning even if you are old. My dream is to be my own boss one day. Then I don't have to work for money and I can do whatever I like. I shall spend more time on traveling, painting, cooking and computer at that time:) I love China

I understand what you are saying and more power to that woman and all.. but at the same time... so what? I mean, what's she going to do with it? All that time and money and now she finally suceeds and ... and... and what? No company is going to hire her, she won't be able to use it anywhere for anything so what's the point of doing it at that old age? I can understand it just being something she wanted to do for herself. I get that. But at the same time...why have a dream to do something if it isn't going to benefit you in anyway? If you can't use that dream to better yourself, or do for something or some reason where it will be profitable, usable or just a good cause? WHy dream for something that does no good to you or anyone else? I know that I am a bit synical as life has made me that way, and I guess some people feel it is enough just to say "I did it" as their reason. For me.. if I am going to spend that much time and money to do something, it is most certainly going to be something that will benefit me in some usable way, shape or form. A degree at age 100 - I think I'll pass on that dream.

i am so happy to hear that grandmother still energetic to study at age 100. why she does not feel tired? she had live life to the fullest and achieved her dream without any obstacle. i should learn from that old woman. i dreamt that i can open a boutique and become boss. i planned to study fashion design but i do not have money to pay for the fees. i hope that one day, i can design beautiful clothes for everyone and myself. i want to learn sewing a complete dress from A to Z. Right now, i am trying the best to save money to pay for the school fees.

At the moment I really have no un-full-filled dreams I can think of..the obvious..season tickets to the Red Wings..winning enough money to buy a red wing. I saw this story in the paper and I wondered about all she had already had the courage to do in the 100 years she had been on the planet and thought she was an inspiration to women everywhere..Although raised in a time where the mind set was girls didn't need an education, they just needed to know how to cook and raise kids and work for their families..she hung on to her dream as long as she needed to with enough passion she was able to acheive it.

I agree that age shouldn't matter when it comes to archieving your dreams. In society for some reason people like to put deadlines to archieve certain things, like studies, now that we talk about that woman, but if you want to do something and you couldn't before because of your circumstances, I think that it's great that you still have the will to accomplish it in any other moment
