I do know that certain insects like cockroaches or ants, can be used as medicine. The thought of swallowing these insects is already nauseating enough, and now you are telling us that urine can have healing effects as well? OK, not you but your neighbor. Well, all I can say is that your neighbor does have a unique way of recycling human waste. I think it is better that your cousin seek medical attention at once, for fear that his urine may cause further implications to his sore eyes.

hello zearah! yay! haha sounds disgusting to me... but you know, i have watched in one episode of jessica soho's show that there are really some people who do use their urine as a medicine...and its so yucky watching them coz there's this one father & son that according to them, they are drinking their own urine and according to them it does good on them...eiiiiiiiiiw! so grose but that's what they said in the show & they actually show it there that they are drinking it...huh! but for me, never will i ever consider it even if they will said that its effective, for me its so dirty since its already the wastes of our body...

While I have heard of urine being used medicinally I do not ever recall hearing of anyone that had used it in their eyes. That doesn't sound quite right to me.

Well, according to my husband, it surely is a good cure, especially for people who do a lot of welding work. I do not think there is a difference. But i personally think it is digusting. But, then again, if your cousin,s eyes feel better, maybe he should consider doing it again. TATA.

Considering urine is body waste and contains bad bacteria and germs, I wouldn't suggest putting it in your eyes. Go to an eye doctor and get professional advice. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE**

i have heard of that before - urine for eyesore... but i havent test it.. nor have i heard anyone i know have tried it... maybe best to get medical 'advise'.. i wont say it wont work - becoz there may be 'something' in the urine that could work as 'medicine'.. well, urine is a good fertilizer.. so although it is 'yucky'.. it is not totally a 'waste'...

I have seen several shows that speak of it's benefits. However, I could never see myself drinking my own urine, or using urine for any type of medical benefits. Urine is waste to me and it's suppose to come out of you for a reason. The only thing I can think of is the Urea which when concentrated can be good for skin, but it's usually cleaned and filtered first.

oh my goodness zearah that is not true! we have a neighbor who had the same belief and tried it once that only made things worst. aside from that sore eyes, swelling around her eyes started because of that urine thing. it was only that time when she visits a physician and spend too much on expensive medicines. the doctor even told her that a simple eyedrop medicine could have healed the sore eyes in a week time or less. beliefs without any medical proof sometimes lead into disaster. it took her almost a month curing her eyes.of course, she was bullied because of her belief and how she looks like with one eye almost closed. just like those boxer's eyes after a boxing match

zearah oh my G thats just so disgusting. for one thing urine is usually very alkaline and could actually burn your eyes and might even make you lose some eyesight, and if by chance its more acidic it will damage your eyesight. do not put anything into your eyes that is not approved by a ear, eye and nose specialist, this is so stupid, your eyes are very delicate. why do these stupid things? Urine is not a medicine its refuse from our body, next you will be telling me that our poohs can be used as medicine. think get real, do not put anything into your eyes. thats so scary, ruining your eyes on old wives tales.

I am not about to try this. There are about a million reasons not to even think about putting urine--especially someone else's urine--anywhere near my eyes. It's just...eww...too disgusting. *shudder*

Blegh Even if it happened to be the best medicinal supplement in the world, I would never apply urine anywhere on the body, it just seems so disgusting to do such a thing. And to put it near your eyes too

This book is composed by a Dr. ( He is indonesian ) and He suffered heart desesase , and He shared his experience to cure his desease and He felt better than before. I my self ever drank my urine to cure my respiration desease and I was okay . Urine taste is like salty and pesing . Urine has good taste than a whisky

Urine is a liquid product of the body that is secreted by the kidneys by a process called urination and excreted through the urethra. IT is the waste product, so when you say it is a waste, it can't help any diseases from fighting. It is not advisable to use your urine to cure sore eyes. But i know a lot of people that do it, and it can amazingly cure the soreyes, but not all the time since some irritates their eyes more severely. I don't think so that urine can be a medicine. I do not agree. We must go to our doctor to ask what is their prescription, it is dangerous to just assume.

I never think that urine can be a medicine. I have heard the similar news before. It said that someone regarded the urine as a treatment to cure his cancer. But I don't think it can work. The urine doesn't contain something special, it is just from our body. I feel terrible to think that this can be a kind of medicine. I love China

I don't think it can be a cure to any medical condition. How can it be clean when it comes from our metabolic wastes ?

I don't think so. Urine is a dirty thing that should be trown away. I think there are a lot of medicine which sre cheap to buy.

I would not advise using urine medicinally, especially in ones eyes. I have heard of people drinking urine as a means of survival when there is nothing else to drink. I've also heard of using urine to help reduce the pain of a jellyfish sting. I would most definately not use urine in my, or anyone else's eyes.
