Can I go swimming even I just have my body piercing?

Guys can I swim even I just have my body piercing? My sister told me that I can't go swimming because I've just had a body piercing because swimming pools have chlorine and it would infect the part that is being pierced.

hmmm which part of the body did you get pierceD? i am not sure really, but my daughter who is only 10 months old got her ear pierced and the doctor said that she can just take a bath. she did not even forbade swimming, not that i asked. so i am not sure. but maybe just a precautionary measure, you wait for 3 days until you go swimming, just so you can avoid infection. after all, swimming is not a need. you can live without it. but i think that if you get a piercing on your belly button it will take longer to heal. so it is best to avoid anything that can cause irritation or infection. take care and God bless you!

Yes they are right. You just need to wait. Do not go swimming if you have just your body piercing because it might be infected if you force to go swimming.

Your sister is right. There is a time before you can go swimming, or you might get infection. You should check this before you go swimming.
