Shoes -- do u buy different colors of the same style in case u like it a lot?

There are styles of shoes which we like a lot at times. We like it not only because of the style but because they are comfortable, materials used are good and they are cheap.
When this happens, do you buy different colors of the same shoe style, if you really happen to like it a lot?

Me, i dont, i usually buy only a pair. Actually i seldom buy shoes, my shoes lasts for years so i only see to it that i have black shoes, brown and beige, for office wear. For casual wears, i buy one pair usally black or dark brown.I also have other footwears such as step-ins or slippers that i also wear sometimes so that i would not be wearing shoes all the time. This way i can prolong the life of my few shoes. Durable shoes nowadays costs high so i really take good care of them.

Hi Triplejazzm51,
It is always good to have shoes in basic colors. Black, brown, beige (or even gray0 colors can be paired with most of the clothes that we wear either to the office or church or even to parties. Of course, there are other pairs of footwear that we wear for different occasions. Although sometimes I have "off-colored" shoes (rust, red, gold, silver), I make sure that they go with the clothes that I wear.

No, I cannot buy several pairs of shoes at the same time for several of reasons.
1. My husband would have a hissy fit.
2. I don't spend that much money at one time on clothing at one time. Since I have an odd shaped foot with very narrow heels, I can't wear cheap shoes.
3. It takes several wearings before I can be really sure that a shoe is going to be comfortable.

It works different ways with different people. I understand how it is with you. There are a lot of reasons attached to anything that we buy. Generally, people buy those that are priorities in everyday living. Buying shoes would surely be in the "least priority" list.

Well, I actually know of someone who did like one style but bought two different colors of it. She bought it because she liked both colors. She said she was buying both colors with the same style because it was comfortable, of good material and cheap.

i dont like to wear this same shoes style.although i like this shoes style.but i hope that different style can make me looks different.sometimes i think that i wear different colors of the same shoe style.my friends alwayse ask me:would you wear other shoes?i have this experience so i dont repeat this thing happen.i find that although i like to wear this shoes.but sometimes i would pay attention to my selection about the shoes and clothing because of my friends's mind.

I don't think that I have ever owned two pairs of the same kind of shoes in different colors. The closest exception that I have ever had is when I was working in nursing and had to wear white tennis shoes for work and I liked the pair that I had so much that I went back to the store and bought another pair of the exact same shoes so that I could wear those when the initial pair that I had bought for work got worn out.

Yes, for very special and important reasons, we sometimes deviate from what we personally adhere doing. When you bought another pair of the same kind of tennis shoes, maybe you had in mind the comfort that type of shoes gave you, having experienced using one and had to buy it again for work purposes.
I had done this too. I had bought exactly the same style of shoes because my daughter liked it, too. I bought a smaller size of the same pair and it was cheap, being offered on a "buy one take one" sale.

I have never owned two pairs of the same shoe, I like to change my styles and colors often, and I like wearing different kinds of shoes.
Adidas,Reebok,Nike,and Timberland are my favorite brands though.

It is always good to have variations of styles and colors of anything, shoes included. We have the luxury of choice from what we have with the different styles of shoes. Those are really nice brands of shoes that are your favorite. I like them too.
