The year was 1969, and all eyes focused on the United States of America because of there modern heroes. The three are space heroes who conquered the moon. Commander Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. The three astronauts were sent to a mission to land on the moon. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon while Michael Collins stayed on the return craft. The mission was a triumph for the U.S. and the three astronauts and all mankind. The mission to land on the moon after many years was camceled by the Obama administration. The top priority is said to be investing on new space technology. For those who want to see man on the moon again in HD and with colors, clear audio, etc. Forget about it for now. " One small step for a man, one great leap for mankind." Very humble saying of great man

I think we're going to have to depend on commercial space companies now, as once again government has failed. Fortunately, the treaty that is supposed to prevent commercial use (amongst other things) of the Moon and other bodies is pretty much worthless.

Hi friend I think President Obama's administration has a different space program. They can't see any real importance of going back to the moon after forty long years. REGARDS

We should have stayed there the first time.

Hopefully the space program will start up again. Despite all the people saying "pay attention to what's happening down here", there were a lot of benefits. I hope we see a man on the moon again in my lifetime...

Hi friend That is really an exciting idea. I also believe that the moon can wait but we have more urgent things to be dealt with here on here. Regards

I was a kid then. It was sooo cool. Now people just take space travel for granted. But back then, it was a big deal. Thanks for going down memory lane.

Hi friend It seems that space travel has lost it's appeal on the new generation. It is realy a great achievement of mankind. Regards
