I'm sure that every country has myths or legends of their own. like in indonesia, there are some myths and legends such us Malin Kundang, Tangkuban Perahu or NyiRoro Kidul. and my favorite legend is Malin Kundang. it tells about a bad boy who was cursed into a stone by his own mother. if you visit Indonesia, you can watch that stone. how about you, what myths or legends are there in your country? and what is your favorite one?

The Famous Giant's Causeway, which is one of the main tourist attractions here in Ireland was allegedly built at one time buy a Legendary Giant,Named Finn McCool.. There's a belief in Fairies and "The Little People",or Leprechauns, with People Unwilling to disturb or remove what has become known as a "Fairy Tree",for the bad luck said to follow.. Scotland's Loch Ness,a Large Inland Lake,Has had many reported sightings of Its Legendary Monster,"Nessie",with Many researchers coming to investigate and to try and film it...

I've never yet visited the Loch, but it is a very long,Large, inland body of water..not easy to keep watch over,or explore..it's waters are famously murky from the runoff from peat in the soil around the shores,so even with a submarine (which some have tried!) it's not possible to fully explore to conclusively rule out the existence of it's most famous inhabitant...I remember that one of the most famous pieces of photo evidence, known as "The Surgeon's Photograph",was revealed to be a Hoax a few years ago..Interest in the phenomenon continues, however!

Here in Britain, we have some legends and myths that people still like to talk about. Perhaps the most famous is the legend of the Loch Ness monster. But personally, I do not believe that such a beast exists, because I guess I'm just too pessimistic to believe

Hello, We the Indians have so many myths. I think every country has a number of myths and they are often symbolic. I mean, myths may apparently look simple, but they always have some subtle educational hints. The myths with its fantasy are the most beloved stories of children. They not only listen but also remember it quite easily. That is why it is way easier to teach them through those myths. One of the many myths we have, is about a King (who is still considered an incarnation of God himself) and his follower. This is all about the strength of true faith. The follower jumped across an entire ocean only by the power of the belief he had. This myth symbolically demonstrates the immense strength of pure faith and surrender to God. Take care God bless you

I don't believe that with the limited knowledge I have I can judge whether anything is possible but I don't even try to judge anything. I only take from it the essence, whatever is positive in it. I don't go into details as I believe there is no use in doing that. Take care

I agree with you, brother. in my religion we can't allow to believe but Him. but I think legends or myths will help me to be careful and wise in all decision I take or decision I make..
